The Kashmiri Files

I saw it in a theatre in US.

Never have I seen such audience response.

Everyone gave a standing ovation. People were crying.

What a chillingly beautiful film

Please please go watch the film.

The movie touched the raw nerve of Kashmiri Pandits. Their real stories are deemed too sad and monotonous to talk or empathise.

Happy that we now have a movie on Kashmir which is no more romanticizing terrorists and extremists.

I see Kashmiri pandits thankful that finally their part of story is heard and represented somewhere. Imagine the struggle where neither your story is acknowledged nor believed.

This is truly an Audience film.

Not one Bw person has praised the film.

But who cares, the only people who matter are the audience.

Although so many obstacles were put purposely in place, like bookmyshow not showing the name on 1st page with other movies released, to not enough theaters, High court cases etc

The film has won and is a hit. But importantly it has brought out the disturbing uncensored truth out.

People are talking. This film is the first of the many steps to bring back the real Kashmiris home.

Lol what else than publicity and the director's way of staying relevant since he has always been an attention seeking cry baby on social media. They all smartly made it look like Kashmir Files is an indie film being produced by some small time producer having no money and getting bullied by 'bullywood'.

The film is produced by Zee Studios, easily one of the topmost and biggest film studios in the country right now. They just released the much celebrated Valimai two weeks back. You really think such a humongous studio like them will not have the money to promote the film on Kapil Sharma show or add the film on the first page of Book my show or not get enough screens for the film? 😆

If the film didn't get promotion it is because the producers themselves thought it wouldn't be profitable enough for them to spend so much on a film like KF unlike a Manikarnika which they went all out to promote despite it having an actress whose last two films were washouts. Plus according to Opindia, the producers have told them that no one is sabotaging Kashmir Files and they are just following the release strategy of Tashkent Files which too had a smaller release but was a sleeper hit. Now even when the producers themselves are ensuring no one is sabotaging the film, people will still blame 'conspiracy theories' 🤪

Is this Vivek Agnihotri that guy who supported Kangana in who directed Manikarnika controversies?
