Prabhas craze among Hindi speaking audience is gone. Now Adipurush is also in trouble.

There was no Prabhas craze. Saaho was working on the momentum of Baahubali. The whole South Indian film craze in Hindi dominant markets was overstated.

It would be true if Adipurush or Salaar fail to open or open at the same level as Radhe Shyam.

As far as the South Indian films craze is concerned, the same will be true if RRR or KGF2 fail to open decently (above 10Cr minimum) or don't get to 100 Cr (regarding RRR).

Saaho was coming right after Baahubali and looked action dhamaka movie from the trailer. Also people are not giving credit but Saaho had one of the top bollywood star Shraddha too which helped in opening in Hindi belt.

Radhe shyam looked confusing and not exciting from the trailer itself and being romantic movie didn't helped. Add the delays, no top bollywood star like Shraddha this time, movie itself being poor and fading goodwill of Baahubali leads upto this poor opening.

Adipurush/Salaar opening will depend on trailers as well. If it is massive and connects with masses they can still open well (10-15crr). However if it is meh like Radhe shyam then the opening could be disaster.

RRR should open with atleast 10crr+ with average reviews (unless the movie and reviews are disaster). With good to excellent reviews it can open around 15crrs or so.

adipurush is his last chance , saaho trailer and songs were also terrible but opening was because of bahubali hype and radhe syam's terrible opening shows how much of a dent saaho made on prabhas' appeal in north

He was bali ka bakra used by trolls to bash Bollywood, especially khans.

There was never a Prabhas craze. It was an out-and-out Baahubali craze. That craze was because Baahubali was a fantasy fiction film rooted in Indian mythology and culture that had some brilliant action and didn't feel comical despite some ridiculous moments. Attributing it to Prabhas and expecting his other random movies to do well is absurd.

I must add, like Prabhas, the movie brought SS Rajmouli in the limelight, but it shouldn't be assumed as an SS Rajmouli craze and shouldn't be used to gauge the success or failure of RRR either.

Baahubali did make pan-Indian audiences to wake up to South Indian movies. South Indian films are doing very well on streaming with many Hindi audiences streaming them at home and some like Pushpa breaking through in the box office too.

This isn't the first time. Back in the day Kamal Hassan films were dubbed/remade for Pan-Indian audiences and were big hits.
