I think companies also need to understand this. There is no one size fits all here. They need to change depending on what each person wants and give people that freedom. In US and Canada they didn't do that, so it started this Great Resignation Phase. Maine khud 5 months ke timespan mein do baar job badli because of this authoritarian format.

Oh welcome to Canada. One of my first jobs was a 2-hour commute each way. I used to bus, but one month I started taking the car. My luck was that we had a major snowstorm one day. Took me 7 hours to get home. That too after begging my boss to let me go when the snowstorm started. She finally agreed 2 hours later when the snow was 10 inches deep. (Guess what I quit and left that job 3 months later.)

yeh kaisa boss tha 😕 weather ur allowed to go home. damn. I commute everyday 1h by car but for sure my boss wouldnt stop me frm leaving early if weather was bad
