i'm just excited that arylie are married before holi...
so bring on some drunk holi cliche romance
i want drunk ASR...
and baby doll daloing dore on him and fierce protective wife in action
IMAGINE:
Aryan accidentally drinks bhaang (remember he doesn't drink any alcohol or do any drugs)
Imlie is sober for Holi, because she's still moody and thinking about her holi with AKT (gag)
Gudiya gets Aryan high on bhaang in order to get him to reveal to all the guests at the fancy af party that either 1) he doesn't love imlie (she and Badi Ma doubt this wedding from day one, but they don't know the real reason) 2) to embarrass imlie/assume he will say some bitter crap about her and her status (again neither Gudiya or Badi Ma really understand anything that's going on)
INSTEAD: we get Aryan dance number with Narmada and Arpita - him dragging the both of them in and having fun for the first time in years. And then he literally runs into Imlie, who's not really trying to get in anyone's way, let alone Aryan's. And somehow, he ropes her into a dance. She is initially reluctant, but she falls into it (literally and metaphorically)
Arpita asks Imlie to take Aryan to his room (Gudiya and Badi Ma try to make a scene but they fail), and Imlie does. Aryan then starts to admit he married her "for her own good," but he's talking in half sentences and a little nonsense. Then when they get to the room, Aryan starts looking for something as Imlie tries to wrangle him into the bed to go to sleep or just drink some goddamn water at least. Instead Aryan manages to find the payal of Imlie's he's had since the DDLJ day. He shows it to Imlie, gleefully, and says, "You taught me to talk to bejaan (not living) things, Imlie. You taught me to laugh. You taught me to feel my emotions again. I don't want to go back. I like talking to your payal, I can tell it all the things I can't tell you."
Then he collapses on the bed, passed out/asleep/never to remember the stuff he just said.
CUE FEMALE JAANIYA as Imlie stares at the payal in his hand.
