Yeah lol she's an idiot. I have nothing to even talk about there because... her decision making is so whack I can't make head or tail of it.

I think the part I'm not able to get over is, idk, I can't APPRECIATE Aryan for making this decision because...well she has the right to self destruct. Because that's all she does, I'm not even gonna pretend his vision was false, because 2000% that's what she was heading towards. I understand where his drastic measures come from, and I also think this was a hail mary on his part, because all else has and will continue to fail. And, this will be a positive outcome in the long run.

But the action is still one I can't put any kinda positive spin on, I can't be appreciative of. It was wrong, and the only emotions I have are critical ones.

Ooh that I agree..100 percent. She literally has to have everything spelled out. She is very impulsive.

I have made peace with Aryan's 'decision'. Cuz otherwise I see no way forward. Like you, I too would have liked more progress on their equation from her side..like more feelings.. But then if that would have happened...she wouldn't have felt so 'betrayed ' by Aryan..as Pavi says, it's back to scratch for her.

I don't agree with her thoughts or actions..but that doesn't mean I can't feel sorry for her. At times, the scenes hit close to home..(regarding our talk yesterday)

sorry but if what's going on in imlie's head right now is "on no the tripathis are mad at me, oh no aditya is disappointed in me, oh no i can't marry aditya now" then i don't feel sorry for her.

i feel bad that a twenty year old girl is having to get married again...but sometimes shitty crap has to happen to you for you to come out of it stronger. and if the same shitty crap is happening to you TWICE (another forced-ish marriage) then maybe learn from the first one. there was no physical way for Imlie to escape her first wedding, she tried like hell remember, but again there were many ways to escape this one (i know we're thinking Aryan is some genius shatranj player, but honestly he is like the runniest ice cream in the freezer, at one burst of hot air or tears from Imlie he would have faltered lmao).

IN FACT, if Imlie really wants to be a dummy and love Aditya, she could have run to Aditya and told her what Aryan wanted, and the both of them could have planned to fool aryan, or aditya (if he were a good guy which he isn't) would have told imlie not to make this sacrifice!

idk man, even if you're only twenty, learn from the crap that's happened to you. also if imlie doesn't have a single heart-to-heart with Narmada or Arpita in the coming days, or if she completely ignores the stuff Aryan's no doubt going to be doing for her...that again is her making the same mistake.

Even a twenty year old should be able to see the difference between Aditya hiding her as a naukrani for almost a year versus Aryan openly declaring Imlie as his wife. EVEN IF (she thinks) that reason is just for revenge against Aditya.

Itna dimaag aur dheeraj hota ladki mein toh baat hi kya thi phir 😂😂 but my POV is that Aryan also knew ki itna dimaag nahi hai usmein. So he was aware he was backing her in a corner, because he knows how her mind works. Which I'm chill with because despite his speech on choice, he's also aware that his methods were wrong.

So, whatever, he's taken an end justifies the means philosophy here, doing short term harm to prevent long term destruction. I appreciate his clarity of thought there.

i'm also not going to say EVERYthing Aryan did was correct. Obviously that's the trope of these ITV shows - the bitter rich guy with a heart of gold. He had a bunch of other ways to get Imlie away from the Tripathis. He chose marriage because a teeny tiny part of him KNOWS he loves Imlie. Another bigger part of him KNOWS this is a great way to get real revenge on Aditya, even though he promised to himself he wouldn't use Imlie for revenge. But the practical (this would not be a TRP booster lmao) choice for Aryan would have been to tell her: here's your admission form for the top ten colleges in the UK and the US. You leave this country for four years and BOOM your whole tripathi family including Aditya is saved.

but besides this being horrible for TRP lmao, the reason Aryan isn't completely flawless is that even though he's suggesting marriage so SHE can get away from the Tripathis, he's selfish enough to want her by his side. Not just away from the Tripathis/Aditya
