Just to ask, why couldn't we have had Rupinder instead of Arpinder? They are familiar with each other's backstories and supposedly value and understand each other very well.

I would have liked to see the reaction of the Tripathis to another of their 'educated' children falling hook line and sinker for a servant.

There was potential for so much drama there with the Tripathis perhaps objecting to their union and Rupi rebelling. Imagine the taunts from neighbours, etc as well.

There would have been loads of screen space for the additional cast members who aren't leads and it wouldn't be necessary to contrive screen space for them by unnecessarily inserting them in scenes where their presence in not needed. (Like Rupi at the hospital.)

Why was it necessary to go across town to billionaire's row to find a bride for Sunder when a perfect one was right there under everbody's nose in the Tripathi house?

because they're married IRL, which is a ridiculous reason to pair people up but at least they actually like one another BTS so it comes through on the show.

IKR!! It took Aryan & Imlie 100 episodes to reach "nit your fraand" level and here toh with Sundar & Arpi..they are going at top speed. And Arpi still doesn't know about Sundar's status in the house. Love transcends all borders. I believe that..but love requires a solid base first. Just cuz two people are sweet, that doesn't translate into love. Infatuation can happen first..which can later progress into love. More than love, why not make them good friends..who later down the road start having feelings for each other. Arpita's scenes have been seamlessly interwoven into the show...her interactions in her family.. with Imlie. Just to give the guy playing Sundar Screenspace, kuch bhi like dete hain.
