Okay, it's not letting me quote the post.
So, I always knew that Abhi being adopted thing is too cliche, and they might go the other way. Also, the way Harsh is, if Abhi was adopted, he wouldn't consider him his own. He'd treat him like Neil/Akshu/legit everyone else in the world. Trash.
So, now that we have confirmation it's Neil only, it makes much more sense.
I think the story could be that Neil is Harsh's illegitimate child, who Manjiri adopted and lies by saying that he's just an orphan kid she wanted to give a home to. And Abhi doesn't know about it. Maybe Harsh's treatment of Manjiri and an affair is why Abhimanyu doesn't see eye to eye with his father. And he loves Neil, so the big drama would be when he finds out that Neil is the product of an affair that have his mother so much pain, or something along those lines.
Or I'm completely wrong, and they'll bring some other twist only!!!
Even if Abhi is the one who's shown to be adopted, his behaviour with his family won't change. Manjiri would still remain his mother no matter what, and he might feel a little betrayed, but I don't think the bonds will break. That's where Akshu's wisdom and her gyaan about the importance of family will play a role..she'll make him see how noone treated him differently, so how can he?
I think that would be a turning point in the show, because each of them would see the other's pov more clearly. And they'll realise the importance of all bonds, and how love transcends everything. And that love can be with your partner, family, mother, anyone.
Okay, I'm digressing and thinking too much xD God knows what they'll show!! We can just hope for the best!!
