I never thought you’d feel the same way. I’ve been waiting for you to realise I’m the one for over two years now Smitten. I gave up hoping you’d reciprocate my feelings. But it’s not too late. Just tell me there’s hope and I’ll wait for you … forever.

LMFAO. But no, you had to unsend the message and forever let me drown with curiosity. I feel like I’m part of your one-sided relationship. Now we both don’t have closure. 😭

Oh, did I miss the last leg of the story?! I unsent the DM, and then proceeded to temporarily delete my insta account this morning, cuz I was so scarred and thought a break was in order, just to heal from that self-inflicted trauma. 😒

McDreamy probably got a notification this morning and an ego boost if he saw my name with the message that might have still been visible in the notification list.... that's my theory, and then he probably proceeded to click on the notification only to see either a) an error message or b) this person has deleted the message. The second option haunts me cuz that way, he finds out that I was in over my head and decided to "undo" it too. The more you look like you care, the more their ego blows up............ and the more lunatic I look cuz it literally looks like I was just creeping on him without any attempt to actually meet him, and decided to snap when he found someone after two years. 😪

Your McDreamy note does give me some perspective from his side though ......... I'm gonna have to pretend that's the closest thing to a closure I'll ever get on this. 😆🥺

I wonder if you can still read the message on your notifications tab even if it’s been deleted or unsent? If you can, then you’re still screwed. 😂

But hey, if it makes you feel any better, Miss Philippines ain’t pretty AT ALL. Like from zero angles do I find her attractive. That’ll make me feel better coz nothing hurts more than your crush getting together with someone better looking than you. You literally can’t compete with that.

Don’t beat yourself over it. He may have seemed perfect because he turned on his *charming* switch to impress you. For all you know, he could’ve been a sociopath or someone with ugly fingers. Lmfao. He also farts and goes through bouts of explosive diarrhoea. That image always makes me feel better when I start daydreaming about my unreciprocated crushes in the past. 😂

I second your thoughts on Miss Philippines USA 2021. Certainly not a barbie but they looked happy and she was glowing .... and why wouldn't she. 😭 Such a dagger to my heart.

I've never had anyone send me something they ended up deleting before I could see it. So I wouldn't know what it must have looked like his end.

I googled it and the answers are a mix of "he can see it in the notification list but not on insta" and "the notification will let him know that xyz deleted this message" ..... I'm hoping it's the latter. But even if he saw it, he can't answer me or anything cuz my account don't exist for a week. 😆

Either way, I had to retreat sadly to my hibernating hole. 🤗 Thanks for the pep talk, I do feel a bit better, believe me or not. I'll be licking my wounds by watching some more British period romances till the end of this week.😆

I’ll keep sending videos of hot English men from the 1900s your way. Just remember, no one in this era could possibly be more sexier than Mr Darcy, Mr Thornton or Mr Rochester. They simply don’t exist. You can retreat into your hibernating hole but don’t you forget that it’s HIS loss, not yours.
