Akshu is yet to understand about abhi a little more. On the day of shiv ratri what akshu said is maybe abhi still angry at her, she told she shouldn't have talked her emotions out like that to him. She then said abhi is emotional but is mature, caring and understanding so he will understand her love for her family. In between these she is yet to realise the impact her words had on abhi. Before clearing that this deal thing happened so abhi's insecurity took a back seat.

They once said they need to speak yet they didn't once. The one time akshu spoke her heart out this happened. It will be like that to them as their talks about each other and their pasts consists of the pain they gave to each other and the mistakes they did with each other. Let's wait and see how they talk their insecurities out.

This is not just about abhi insecurity. Even akshu said to aarohi just because she doesn't talk about her pain doesn't mean she is hurt it applies to abhi too. Him hurting akshu by proposing aarohi which she never spoke to him.

Abhi's insecurity will definitely address that why they bring that scene.
