His character seemed grounded, thought things through and was open to dialogue and other viewpoints. Only person who brought the immature side of him out was Ishqi.. and Karthik when talking about Ishqi. 😆

Ishqi on the other hand was immature on the surface, but from what i understood, inwardly mature. There is still so much to be explored with her character and how Ishqaan's characters grow together and interact with eachother. Their characters were layered.

I was not talking about Ishqaan here. There are people like both of them actually. And here they both had some amount of maturity or immaturity. I was talking about most other shows mentioned or not mentioned here actually.

Yes, one question I had about Ishqi though. If AVM was like that due to being conditioned by Daadi, on the other hand, the mental effect on Ishqi due to witnessing domestic violence from a tender age was not considered.

There were moments where AVM manhandled her and though i hate scenes like it, i thought the way Ishqi reacted was different. It may just be me but i saw Ishqi be triggered in those scenes and speak up.. while other shows (k dramas) would romanticize such scenes.

I wanted the writers to explore her character more.. her flaws. And AVM's flaws. Those scenes with him questioning Ishqi's open nature with the auto drivers, though funny, could have been explored more, and Ishqi's objection of his behaviour.

I think this is web series version of corlors show Ishq mein mar jawan which was produced by someone else. It is dark thriller type love story with revenge n all unliek other Gul shows.

Bold: that makes sense. If it's a webseries then budget is lower, right?

Bold: thought of Parugu. Basically about a man-child falling in love. 😆

It's a good movie.

The producers who brought us IPZN have another show called Fanna. I watched a few scenes on Instagram and i was surprised. Acting or execution seemed off. What i find odd is the main charcters, like parakshita have a 14 year age gap between them in real life. Is this some new trend in Hindi television?

I can't imagine anyone else playing Ishqaan. It was as if the characters were made for Parakshita, but i am still surprised of their age gap.

I guess Gul Khan has a thing for leads with huge age gaps.😆

The fact that Akshita looks older than her age, and Param younger, hid the age gap between the two. And yes, I do agree that noone could've played IshqAan other than ParAkshita. If Gul Khan created IshqAan, ParAkshita breathed life into them.
