If you think that thread on Haan Maine Bhi Pyar Kiya Hai thread inspired me to create this topic, you guessed right!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIX8Dfa05lQ

The most unceremonious moment starts at 6:10, for your viewing pleasure.

If I were you to ask you to name some fictional characters who were absolute losers you couldn't stand in the movie but STILL got a happy ending they didn't deserve at all, without so much as a redemption arc, who would you pick and why?!

Another name that comes to my mind is Salman's character in Biwi # 1 .... šŸ˜† but I won't digress. Please sound off below, thanks!

Well

Don’t keep us hanging. I was getting interested and then the video stopped. Does he make it to her bedroom at least?

The video must have stopped cuz the universe wanted to save you from quite possibly the most cringeworthy scene in the entire Bollywood movie history that is not only absolutely unacceptable but also makes me squirm in my chair every time I watch it.... cuz well, I must be a masochist! šŸ˜†

Not only does he make it to her bedroom, he proceeds to shamelessly steal the bride, leaving poor Akshay in dust. and next thing you know, Akshay is also cheering for the two, dancing with them. 🤣

And get this, the bride spent the first half of the movie as Abhishek's wife. He was already married to her at one point, only to cheat on her and then desert her ....who was then left on her own to put the pieces back together to make herself whole again. He had his shot but he blew it!

When she found a decent man who loved her (Akshay) the second half of the movie, and was only minutes away from taking the saat pheres and Janam janam ke vows, the directors thought it was a great idea not just to bring Abhishek's miserable @$$ back to the scene but actually walk away with the bride without any redemption whatsoever! smiley34

Let me rant against a trashy piece of shit I had the misfortune of watching in my childhood. 🤪

Bhala hai bura hai jaisa bhi hai

Mera pati mera devta hai

^ This doormat anthem is the introduction to this garbage and now you might know how problematic the film is. 😭

Kishan's (Rishi Kapoor) domineering father forces him to marry his friend's daughter...a village girl who's both unattractive and unrefined with crass mannerisms and a hilarious hairstyle which resembles a dog's tail. A depressed Kishan then goes to the city and falls for an independent city girl, Radha. He hides his past from her and they marry. Somehow his 1st wife lands up in the same house where Kishan lives with his 2nd wife and complications arise. 🤪

2nd wife then takes it upon herself to refine both looks and mannerisms of the 1st wife out of sympathy and Kishan starts feeling attracted and even guilty as his first wife makes a significant progress in both departments. The cringefest ends with the 2nd wife committing suicide after getting to know the truth and blames herself for coming between her husband and his 1st wife. In a true mahaan devi style, she dies only after eliciting a promise from Kishan that he'd take care of her didi turned sautan saheli blah blah. šŸ˜†

That's the most offensive part -- the sheer nerve of the bozo! FF is so on point about wanting to tackle him the WWE way! šŸ˜†
