My thought is a little different and a little deep. But as always I may be wrong.
Aditya resorts to bheek mangoing to toxic chasing of Imlie to gain her forgiveness, like he has done by withdrawing his complaint against Satyakaam. With Satyakaam out, Aditya may actually use that excuse to earn Imlie's forgiveness. Seeing the precap, I am a bit skeptical about Satyakaam being in favor of Imlie being with the Rathores.
Khair, Satyakaam may advocate Aditya, which may be followed with Aparna and the other bheekmangas chasing Imlie. As we saw, Imlie was deeply exhausted and rather unhappy after the said PF, which confused Aryan very much. Now we all know Imlie is incapable of hurting anyone. She may try, but maybe these oafs will not listen. So, she may go to ABP for guidance to help her out from this mess, yet again.
That is when this scene comes to play wife to Aryan. Show some fake marriage proof and stop all the chasing once and for all. And Imlie may agree, as it is a one time thing. But life ka kya hai. Sab ulta. When AryLie said they are not having an affair, then also were asked for proof. Now when AryLie will say they are married, then also they will need to prove it.
So Imlie may completely deny to marry Aryan at first. Aryan on the other hand may compel her to use her brain. He will tell her that Aditya needs to move on, needs to take responsibility of his family, of his unborn child, if he continues like this he may ruin himself and Imlie did all this so that Tripathis don't lose their son, but like this that is what will happen. Aryan will leave it upon Imlie to choose and to put an end to Aditya's love charade, and Tripathis beti charade, Imlie enters into a marriage of compromise with Aryan.
This is my willllddd theory. Not what you guys expected I guess🤣

mom got me hooked in 2013 when i'd go between texas to another state for college so I only watched over summer and winter break, then in 2015 I learned that I could watch the episodes daily online and so I just watched a lot from Star Jalsha and Zee Bangla and Colors Bangla (before they cancelled everything during COVID) and then I learned all the Bangla vocab I could so I switched to Hindi after I saw Maram's edit in December, looool.
Altho now that Star Plus is just Star Jalsha Hindi, I guess some of these shows are double counted haha.
