I never expected North East states to be like this because I heard there ragging are less and it's in UP, Bihar, MP, South Indian states where ragging is horrible. Imagine a scenario where there are two girls- one junior(J) and one senior(S). J had followed the rules of calling her madam and dressing in simple clothes against her will, not taking life, not sitting in canteen, greeting S and other seniors by bowing. Fast forward to 7 years. J is working as a bank PO in a reputed bank from 2 years and S enters the same bank as a fresher clerk. S will have to address J as ma'am everyday and take her approval for everything and will be paid a little more than half of her salary. S will also have to bear J's angry words and scolding some times. 7 saal pehle ki seniority paani me chala jaayega. Then what's the point of the ragging and bullying juniors playing with their mental health when in future such scenario is possible.

I wish this ragging ends in your and everyone's college. To hell with tradition. Jo tradition doosron ko hurt kare vo khatam ho jaani chaahiye. These people who rag others will feel the pain when any of their family members is treated the same way.

Our college/class dress code is kurta and leggings Juhi for every student.Just only V shaped dupatta is there.And we need to call dada(brother) and baa(sister)to our seniors not sir and madam.I have told you naa our 2nd year and current Msci first year seniors are ok and friendly.Only 3rd year are thora little strict and chapris but not all the students but we had less interaction with them so no problem.We no need to bow at all to our seniors.We are living in good and free environment in the hostels.Itni bhi excessive ragging and all nahi hoti hai girls ki Juhi becoz just thora bohot rules hai.Bohot saal pehla bohot baada kand hoya tha jiski wajah se abhi situation control mein aa gayi hai thora since our higher batch have complaint against their seniors.We don't suffer from too much excessive ragging Juhi that we couldn't live peacefully.

But on the other hand the conditions of first year boys are very bad,worse and horrible in hostels.They had to suffer since they had one hostel where all the senior boys stay.We girls really got scared today from 2nd year dada's like the way they scold and told the boys to follow rules and to warned the 3 day scholer boys.Really feel bad for our first year hostel classmates since they are being treated bad by their seniors unlike us.They had to follow lots and lots of rules and problems😔
