I thought Priya was negative khadoos initially then I clearly understood her poV why she does everything, it's justified with her experiences and still she goes all out and supports Ram when it's needed.

Ram on the other hand is vocal about he is do kadam aage and all but comes out as delusional to us. I was again angry on Priya when she hid MS khaand but it's also understandable after how much anyone trusts her there in KM (but not telling to police meh)

And I find Priya's reactions more mature and realistic. She takes a step back when needed and still asserts her ground. Ram is learning as of now! I'll be on both teams as the show progresses. Not a fan of actors, not a fan of fandom or any type of fangirling or anything like that. Most unproductive stupid thing ever 😆

I might be critical of the characters and storyline and even editing at times, but surely not the actors, right?

Infact I am learning of Dp and Nm now in the past months of balh… I am aware of them, but like I said always, at the time of pkdh, they were cute.. but I used to get to watch 1 serial and that became dabh, at that point of time…later it was yhm… and didn’t get back to itv until now, that damned pakodi, rain, you will go into debt if you run a pharmacy wale promos …

also, I never followed ishqbaaz.. but the random clips that I see are funny, which I have mentioned as well… so… by all means… I don’t care who got more importance where…

Coming to me supporting Priya in anger,it wasn’t because I thought priya wanted unconditional trust, Infact the opposite, I wanted Ram to hold his horses, and give the benefit of doubt, before deciding Akki as the culprit… wanted a complete investigation…

I still do.. I want a full on POSH team involved… it is still a major crime.

Just like how Priya did, during annulment time, when they got leaked, she didn’t go off and say… “I am going, you go anywhere, anyway I am leaving, why should I care about your name, when my family’s name is in jeopardy and that I need to support my family… I will take care of the mess and could have decisively made ram a culprit for not letting Shikki marry each other😳…” she worked with him, irrespective of the people trying to create difficulties…

This time,to even get to think in her pov, she had to put her life in line… she trusted him, he didn’t live up to that... this is what ‘she’ saw.. we know what happened between ram and Akki and vedu… not her…

now, is it too much to ask for benefit of doubt… if not simple trust, when she proved herself again and again ?

It is not about her character anymore, her personality and principles are being questioned …her upbringing is being questioned…

and in the similar situations, RamColored Text acts according to his pov, which does seem heroic, but if wrong, he asks a sorry and all will move on?

What if she asks in reverse, “you didn’t have your own family… so you don’t know how and what to trust,you just know how to please people…” ..

.. if his principles and upbringing are questioned?…we visibly saw him getting defensive and dismissive…

Coming to accident, YES.. I want it to be solved fair and square too…I also want Priya to give the same benefit of doubt to Ram… also what was she thinking confronting her father seeda?

Because you are not the only one. Even I have done so many times. I'm a nakuul fan but just because I like nakuul more doesn't mean that I will blindly support his character even when he is wrong which such clearity.😆

In the beginning of the show I used to feel that Priya was wrong into projecting her past like this on everyone, I used to feel bad for that itself. And i supported ram, i still do, I have been one of the many ram defender on the forum since I have joined but when he is wrong even I can't overlook that. No matter what if we can't keep actors and their characters separate then what's the point of watching and following a show.

A disagreement on a view is understandable among people especially when there are thousands of people visiting a platform everyday. But I don't think that your views or ideologies have ever been disrespectful to any actor/character/show.

Infact I have always enjoyed all our banters and exchanges on every single issue. The technical details you have provided regarding some scenes have been so good most of the time. Makes me wonder how are you and many others are able to watch these shows and not burst with rage😆

Infact I was about to ask you for memes that you promised after akki is proven innocent in the show.

Okay so to begin with… I THINK I know this @youknowwho person who sent you those incriminating DMs!

Anyways, let me begin by saying you do no wrong in critically analysing or even in making little fun of characters… they are here for that.. to induce all sorts of emotions in our hearts. So on days we love them as well as days we criticise them, are all equally an indication of them doing their job proficiently, since they are drawing our emotions out in various forms.

Secondly, people who criticise you for critical analysis or appreciation of characters must also consider that what we do is not toxic. Toxic is what many other do on this forum— which is spreading unwanted negativity about the show, characters and what not! You… and we… no where even fall close to that category. PERIOD!

Thirdly, well we are human beings and we are entitled to have our own opinions as long as they aren’t offensive or hurtful to anyone. So carry on with your criticism and we are here to support you.

And fourth… NOW this is where the literature post-graduate inside me comes out! There are two types of characters in fictional world(actually there are several types, but primarily two)— ROUND and FLAT. If there is any one here from literature background then they’d confirm to it… otherwise there is always Google and stuff for you to verify my point. Flat characters are the characters that undergo no change during the course of the story. They remain the same from beginning till end… like in case of our show, one very good example of Flat character is Meera Maa. She is straightforward a “guruma” type typical Indian woman who has an extremely optimistic take about everything. There is no edge to her character and no scope of development or growth. She started like this, she is going on like this and she will remain like this throughout the course of the show(which I hope lasts for at least a few years🤣). Ram’s friends too are flat character… they won’t change, they won’t grow… they’ll remain static! And that’s because these characters are the side characters which push the main characters towards their actions. They are like catalyst, assisting the main characters in their course of actions. Our main characters— protagonists and anatomists— are ROUND characters. They are here to show a visible growth— a little early or a little late depends on how the character has been built, what traumas or life experiences they have been through before the story began MEDIAS RES in episode 1. Be it RAYA, vedika , Nandini, shubhu or even shivi— they are all here to grow through the story and change during its course… maybe not vedika but she is round in the sense that she was good before, now she is showing a completely different side of her personality. Ram has grown out of his past a little quickly… Priya is taking time. During this journey, they are meant to have some noticeable slip-ups because they are humans afterall so they will falter— colossally sometimes, slightly at all other times. As audience, our job is to sit and see them in the same light. Give them the expressions that they are meant to evoke out of us… be enraged when someone messes up and be happy when they do happy, gooey stuff! To blindly follow one character and expect them to be all good and no bad is like expecting the sun to adjust its temperature to a moderate degree.

So if you are altering between which characters you like on particular day, you are doing what’s the shoemakers expect of you. We are a fan of the show, and, admirers of the cast. So as fans of the show we can critically comment about those who we admire because they are as much a part of the as we are… the difference being they are are the creators, we are the receivers.

So ignore those who question you for your normal human tendencies because they probably have no regards for others. You do you, let the useless stuff not hinder your way.
