Don't get me wrong but I get some of his frustration. Every time he or someone else from the family asks them what's in their heart and they say nothing. Then, the next day they end up doing the exact opposite.

Akshara: Mujhe Birla's se koi naata nahi rakhna (right before the birthday track when she rejected Abhi again).

Also Akshara: Plans his birthday birthday and watches him change

If Abhi has the right to be frustrated with Akshu's ha/na mood shifts, so does Manish.

If Akshu was my daughter, I would hate to send her into a home where Harsh and Mahima are conspiring against her because it will only lead to kalesh and disrespect.. I was surprised Manish was the only one who pointed that out.

You're not wrong for spending time with your girlfriend, but the way you're trying to resolve these issues is rude and frankly speaking, if anyone talks to my father like that (who I have a very similar relationship to Abhi-Harsh, maybe even worse) I wouldn't tolerate it. He's my father and he's OFTEN wrong but that's between me and him and when its not, there's other ways of handling it where you retain your dignity. Just because you opponent stoops low, doesn't mean you have to get kichar on yourself.

The words Manish uses to describe his own grandkids are unacceptable. I would understand where he is coming from if he did not bring what society thinks into everything. At this point, it seems like he cares more about what people will think and his feud with the Birlas than his children's own happiness. I'm not saying that he doesn't have some valid points. Abhira made some huge mistakes, and they are paying the consequences now. But, the last straw was Manish calling the police on Abhi because of Harsh's diamond kaand. Why punish a child for something a parent did? That crossed every single line. Yes, Abhi was being stubborn today, but he was speaking with respect and calmly, while Manish was being extremely rude and hostile towards him. Manish is acting like a child at this point and is clouded by his ego. Again, not saying that Abhi was 100% right, but Manish's behavior was utterly unacceptable.

I am in completely in agreement with you

he behaved like a stubborn child who wanted to prove his point coz he thinks birlas are bad

its only harsh who has problem with akshu baaki all are happy with her

and calling police for doing what, if it was coz of harsh ya nuksaan ke wajah se tha both way reason was wrong and that cannot be justified , he was wrong to another level and this cannot be redeemed

For Akshara, he downright accused her of being characterless. How could you even say that to your grandaughter, especially when she's the last piece of your son that you have? And even if she messed up, that says more about your upbringing than it does her.

At this point, it seems like he cares more about what people will think and his feud with the Birlas than his children's own happiness.

See that's just a fact and what angers me about that this society moral code always turns on with convenience. There are things that are morally outrageous and some of them have happened in the show. And while I don't expect everyone to recognize that line, I do expect people to oppose it because of societal conduct and fear of the reaction. For example, racist bias is absolutely wrong, outrageous, unfair - there's not enough words to describe it. But I don't expect racists to keep their mouth shut cause they recognize they're terrible. I expect them to shut up because of the backlash from everyone who knows better. Yet, Manish failed to acknowledge the morality of issues or stop them out of social consciousness. He never thought of it when he let Suhasni kick Naira out of their house and create a public scandal. The entire family went against Naira when she sent Luv-Kush to jail for molestation, without a care of what people would think of them for defending a monstrous act.

Let's be real, Manish is a kid. Even kid Kairav showed more maturity than the Goenka elder's combined.

Manish lacks the courage to take Harsh head on, that's why he's taking it out on Abhi who won't retaliate cause Akshu.

I never said he was right. I just said I get his frustration a little and in some ways, I find it similar to Abhi's.

You're entitled to that opinion and I definitely see why you feel that way. Abhi could have said much worse. He could've done tod phod and barged into the house but he restrained himself.

Abhira are realising too late they should have ELOPED!!🤣

All this could have happened while they still got to go home together, thumb their noses to both their families, romance each other to their hearts content not giving a fig whose face is turning green with jealousy, red with anger, or generally looking disapproving at their love like they had committed murder.😃😎

Instead, they are separated by a flimsy glass gate, resorting to sending out flying kisses and finger hearts while eating their hearts out.😲😆... is Udaipur in15th Century BC...?🤣

...I'm gonna go order some takeout for Abhi now....🤣💔
