Women's Day is the one I find straight-up insulting - we're half the population of the world and yet so marginalized we get a WHOLE DAY to ourselves! Whoop-de-doo!

(I do get my mommy a card and gift on Mother's Day - she seems to like it and it's the only one that seems meaningful to me because of that)

Lol. I feel the same way about mothers day, women's day, friendship day and whatever other days are there. Never celebrated any of it, and has no plans to in the future as well! 🤣

Just finished watching the Emmy award worthy show's epi..

Is Anisha wali a terrible actress or is it just me? Why does she speak in such a breathy way?

What's with the going to and fro between goenkas and birlas scenes? They always do that in this show. Intense scenes are broken up like this. Doesn't it make more aesthetic sense to finish the entire scene in one place..the impact just gets watered down.

Lol. I remember gifting my mom a Keychain with some cheesy quote on a mother's day because I felt obligated due to some of my friends doing stuff. Only to find the Keychain lost under the refrigerator and knew she doesn't care about shit like that either. Haa, I was so relieved. I don't even celebrate my birthdays anymore. I switch off my phone like jija because I don't want to be disturbed when I am sleeping. 🤣

Though I like it when my very few friends and family calls to wish. ☺️

I find that celebrating a person's bday is enough to show them love and everything.. No need to have a separate day to acknowledge their relationship..🙄

Guys- I started the new thread but I might have screwed up. Eka says we can go to 150pages... so ignore the other one.
Let's see if we can try to close this one out in the next day or so

Yep. Curd rice and the so many different flavored rasams. 😋

Mor kulambu and sambar vada. I don't like non veg food from Chennai much.

But I remember visiting Trichy and the mutton Biriyani from one of the restaurants there, was the best I had. Forgot the name. Apparently it's a very popular one.

Lol! She is - her voice is so grating... The editing on this show has become so subpar. It's like no one cares. I think I read somewhere that besides Anupama (which sounds awful) RS has two other shows. So maybe YRKKH is now the red-headed stepchild and only gets whatever is left over from resources given to the other shows...
