It's not just morphed. It's heavily romanticized and idealized.

Most of these portrayals offer little to none agency to woman.

I was a little confused about the timing of their conspiracy session. Was the planning session before or after breakfast? On first watch, I thought he was sitting alone sulking after breakfast and that is when she came there to hypnotize him *another facepalm* but the continuity was off. No comment about him walking away from breakfast table or attempt to get him to eat. Thoda confusiya gaye hum. Anyone else has thoughts?

Thank you so much for the spot on assessment as always! After today's lack of situational awareness that Imlie is displaying I felt her love meter should be effing ZERO :(

The only place he actually was hurt was later on when she told him that she doesn’t think he can fall in love

@bold second - well initially it felt like he wS jealous and thats why he walked away.. but then after hearing their plan it felt like he staged that to fool Malini into the whole he likes Imlie scenario

Me, being ever the optimist (yes I am a glass half full type person despite by gifffy trolling) I am hoping that even when Imlie learns about Aryan's revenge, she will understand where he is coming from and help him process it. I wrote a whole TS on it for god's sake.
