Here is the next part of the series, dedicated to a member, who is a lifeline.š¤
Anuj brought the pizza back to the sofa. The couple ate quietly and unknowingly cuddled together on the sofa as they fell asleep in exhaustionš³
The lack of his exercise equipment made Anuj realize he would need some of his past stuff, but more importantly his mementos from the Kapadia house.
He mentioned this to Anu and she offered to pick them up. However, Anuj was hesitant to ask Mukku to pack his materials and the hurt was still too close to enter the house.š
The house belonged to his parents and worried he would break down if he visited the place so soon. Especially after leaving Mukku and GK Kaka. Anu suggested they contact a company to help in the relocation.
Anu and Anuj met with an expert in relocation to discuss their unique situation. They had been assigned to Hina, who was most known for her professionalism in the company. šš¼
She handled most of the clients in difficult situations, those leaving abusive spouses, divorces, relocation of deceased family members stuff and so forth.
Anujās situation though painful was not unique as any break-ups in the family made it difficult to access the personal stuff.
Hina greeted them professionally with a nice smile. She had her checklist ready but wanted to understand her clientās expectations. She took notes as Anuj explained the items to be packed and where they were located in the house. The logistics of visiting during a time, Mukku would be away from the house and get the move completed efficiently.šš¼
Anuj had become emotional as he described his possessions. There were many memories relived as associated with personal items and before he knew it, he was having a full-blown panic attackš.
Unfortunately, Anu as usual had been taking some notes too. She was learning more about important things in Anuj's life, like his favourite book in his home library.š³
Hina was a good judge of character and noticed the symptoms of the panic attack.š She quietly poured a glass of water and alerted Anu. To avoid Anu becoming panicked too and now having 2 panicked clients, Hina asked Anu to call another worker outside in case Anuj required more help.
Meanwhile, she directed Anuj to quietly breathe in and out. She asked him to place his hand on his heart and time his breathing while demonstrating the same.
The quick thinking helped Anuj. They mutually decided to end the meeting and avoid Anuj any embarrassmentš¤. Her contact was with Anuj, should he remember anything else to get packed and relocated. Hina already had everything she needed to start and plan the logistics.
Hina liked this client and wanted the best for them. šš¼
