The more I watch the precap, the more I fall in love with it. Abhi grabs Kairav's collar to control him, to threaten him. The collar is where you attach a lease... Abhi wants Kairav to do things his way. But, Akshu steps in and grabs his shirt... the part on his chest...where his heart is. She is trying to steady him. Her one lone tear will reach his heart. She is bringing him back into reality, as his impulses have taken over. This juxtaposition is so beautiful.

But the beauty is that Akshu was not trying to control him. That is why they showed the contrast with the collar and shirt (heart). She was not trying to get him to listen to her way or do things how she wanted. She just wanted to calm him down so that they can handle things rationally.
