Since they showed that Anuj is in love with her for 26 years, they made him too idealistic. Plus it gave a chance for Vanraj to say rhat she got the partnership bcoz he loves her.

On the other hand of they had showed that Anuj had seen her at the Cafe, approached her for a partnership and fell in love after getting to know her - it would be much more realistic.
