Well dhoni is a part of the territorial army and u train a few months each year and have to give exams as well even sachin tendulkar has a rank in the air force . I heard of dhoni attending the training for a short period of time but I'm not sure of Sachin Tendulkar.

We've previously had ITV shows on Army / Navy like Sea Hawks, Fauji and Left Right Left Season 1.

In these shows, audience didn't find any fault / bloopers in dress code or ranks shown. Infact, the storylines in these shows were well paced.

I only watched Left Right Left and I was still pretty young then so I don't know if I can comment on this.

Personally, I don't care so much for accuracy on this show until and unless they start educating us on the ranks or it becomes an integral part of the story. The defence academy is mostly only being used as a set-up to tell the characters' stories and since they're not going out of their way to teach us the wrong thing, I am fine with considering this show in an AU where army titles exist differently.

Rules ka toh aisa hain, Suman had said, "Deepawali par sabko phone diya hain thode time ke liye". Thoda time = thode days, months 🤷🏻‍♀️. Yeh sabhi log shauque se veer balak - balika bane. But courage comes with common sense. Woh toh Academy me nhi sikha payenge na.
