The main difference is that in Paanch, every character has a backstory, motivation and weight to how their character was written. In Fanaa, they are dependent only on Zain's character. A one man show cannot be successful. The character of Paakhi is insufferable in her naivity, stupidity, entitlement, self obsession and dependence on Agasthya for everything.

Probably I am in the minority. But I don't find both S2 or S3 that good😆 Ridhima was too clumsy as a spy and lot of things didn't make sense. In first week of S3 couldn't connect to any character. Everything seems rushed and I can't understand where the story is heading😆 this week is better but still quite boring.

No offence to any fans, just stated my opinion. Honestly speaking I don't find the whole immj series that thrilling. Itv makers don't know how to make thrillers😆

S2 was kachra towards the end. But at least the initial episodes were memorable. Just like you said, i am unable to connect to all these characters in S3. Ishaan is the only character which i find interesting in the series. Wtf is paakhi. Ridz se zyada dumbass hai

I feel the problem is the makers really don't have a proper story/plot in mind while starting. When they start out they have no idea how they want it to end. Neither do they have well written characters. Characters change according to convinience and story according to response🤪 mostly because finite shows are rare which have planned story till the end.

And I guess they just don't want to take risk with the female character. They want her to be masoom, bechari, sanskaari as it works. They just Don't try to show a grey lead. One of the reasons I like Beyhadh series, not the best written show but still shows FL in a different way though they did butcher it by making her completely negative in S1.

Tbh in ITV MLs have the most acting to do. FLs just need to act all happy or cry. scenes with them getting tortured or in a cat fight get more trp thats why strong FLs don't last in Colors.

I don't dislike them😆 But their story is too rushed and feels too cheesy. I prefer seeing leads slowly fall in love. Though I must say Ishaan is growing on me😆 If he has no mystery to hide he seems like a cool guy, a fresh change from angry young man MLs

Paanch has the true anti heroine. She literally arranged to get a guy's hand severed to avenge her sister. She didn't save her roommate from ragging to join the gang of her target. While Durga never harmed the innocent, Paanch's heroine had no such issue. Seriously that show had the most nuances female leads.

No you're not. I ship Ishakhi but now seeing Paakhi's stupidity, I feel Ishaan would be better without her.

Girl did not fall in love with Agastya who she knows for more than 7 years but fell in love with someone who she talked for just 5 minutes.. Ye kya logic hai bhai🤪and itna dumb hai ki she can't recognize his feelings towards her
