seriously ? we are actually going to go there seriously? and whom eaxctly do you expect to have such keen eyes that they could actually spot who is covering their face and who is not among thousands of people .Dont ypu see that is precisely the reason there is strict dress code in high level exam and educational institution .Because humans have there limitations

yaar you guys were talking about women empowerment that is why I brought the Kanyadaan issue....warna my mind is on one track...why turban and not hijab?

But speaking specifically on this topic, I think schools should be consistent with their rules on religions. If they don't wanna have students wear religious symbols, the rule should apply to all religions.

I don't see why turban should be given a pass but hijab shouldn't be allowed. Either allow everything or don't allow anything. Don't pick and choose things!

OMG....again....we can't penalize honest people because humans have limitations....that way life would come to a standstill.....that is why we have laws and police and courts....yes the culprits escape at times....but that doesn't mean that law abiding people should suffer...oye yaar...kya baat kar rahi hai...

That's the point, you give into one, then everyone else will revolt. You can't make exceptions to certain communities and then expect the rest to follow secular dress codes, that is discriminatory. India is supposed to be "secular", the truth is, it's never been secular.

I just checked the last page and seeing come comments on Sikhs . Let me remind you guys Sikhs support freedom of religious identity

Sikhs have suffered and fought a lot to protect their identity over the centuries and latest be it in France or USA when Sikhs were forced to removed Turbans for checking at airports after 9/11 . Sikhs understood the issue and cooperated .

Kindly don’t drag Sikhs into this .

1) There was no issue with Muslim Girls wearing Hijab but why it happened just before Karanataka elections. It was carefully crafted by the Congress party.

2) The issue in Karnataka started after few girls who were motivated by a radical organisation SDPI Campus front of India to wear Burqa in the garb of creating it as Political issue. Some of the girls have accepted this fact that SDPI came to them in January.

3) Hijab was still not a problem but these girls wearing Burqa led to escalation of the issue and somewhere it got mixed up with Hijab, where some girls made it about "Pehle aayga Hijaab, Phir Aayegi Hath Mein Kitaab".

4)This is where the problem started, our educational systems have Uniform for equality and uniformity. Earlier when Hijab was overlooked suddenly because of this issue made people realised that Hijab wasn't a mandate but a matter of choice. So it can be avoided in schools and colleges. Or girls can study in those institutions where they include choice of wearing Hijab.

5) Indian Constitution gives autonomy to Educational institutions to create rules on dress code which is above individual rights it's mentioned in Kerala HC judgement.

6) How is Muslim Girl wearing Hijab and Sikh boy wearing Turban same thing? It's hilarious when people equate the two. Actually Scratch hilarious those doing have communal intent. Hijab can be equated to Goonghat not to Turban. 🤦🏻‍♂️

This anyone who wants to know what is the entire issue about.

Because hijab and turban are not the smae thing .Turban just covers your haed while hijab can cover your entire face( please refer to the pic posted by blue-ice) .I can tug a hijab s lower half to cover my face which is not the smae for turban .that is why educational insititution and all high level exam have dress code to avoid malpractice . I cant go wearing salwaar kameez to give neet under pretext of #mychoice
