Lol. NOT true. Most of China, Korea and Japan happen to follow Budhism but most of the are not vegetarians. Same with Jains also. It’s not mentioned anywhere as a religious mandate in any of their religious texts.
I have a close friend who is jain.. she and her entire family (close/extended) are vegetarian (don’t even eat eggs)
And Buddha himself advised his followers to not consume meat and according to some accounts likened it to eating flesh of own children (I heard a Buddhist sermon about it)
Are you really gong to pretend there are no people in this world who are vegetarian due to their religious mandate? Whatever religion that might be?

The crap some of y’all say to justify oppression is mind blowing. Do you ppl not get to socialize with ppl beyond your own circle?
A sikh wanting to wearing a pagh one day and then not the second day (yes, i’ve seen those) or not wearing one and then deciding to wear one is the same with Muslim women choosing to wear or not wear a hijab. It comes down to religious freedom and choice and we should be allowed to pick one way or another. And the same applies for a burqah.
we evolve as humans and our choices are a reflection of that evolution. Don’t tell me what I can or cannot do.How dare anyone tell me that because i didn't do X in the past i cannot do it in the future. What kind of reasoning is that?
If you keep justifying oppression, itll come for you too in one form or another - dont ever doubt it.
What kind of evolution would be demanding women to wear black burqa in 50 degree temperature?
And how do you describe yourself..an extremist or a moderate muslim?
I am wondering among all of you muslims defending hijab and burqa, how to differentiate a moderate from an extrimist ?

You were talking about the post that she quoted which was mine. You need to sharpen your intelligence, let alone the reading skills and comprehension. 😆
Leave it . It’s waste to explain to narrow minded ones with india hate 😆

Another thread where people who are not even Muslims are telling what is obligatory in Islam and what is not..
This. I usually don't comment in threads related to religion as it is quite a sensitive topic, but looking at half of the replies I'm quite taken aback. Atleast research karke comment karo and if you don't wanna research toh ainvayi mat likho please.

That's what they say... In reality they want a hindiu rashtra where everything will be in accordance with the upper caste hindus...coz all dalits and minority community don't deserve to have an identity.. And these same people if given a chance would love to live in Dubai or Oman.... UAE is filled with sanghis who have been living there for decades but will never return to India...
I myself have grown up in Gulf and never was a non muslim forced to wear hijab in my school and we are taking about a islamic monarchy and even they respect human rights....
So muslim girls are demanding to wear burqa to their college because "they"are demanding hindu rashtra to erase their identity? Nice tell me more about.
@Bold....Your said you are living in india but that doesn't stop you from hating 80% majority hindus. If you are asking hindus to get out of islamic countires because they don't like their ways, shouldn't you be doing the same? You can also go to any muslim country where your religion is allowed to defy any rules and regulations.
Sometimes I wonder these fake IDs walay… asal ID say kyyn Nahin atay… just the fact that they need to hide behind fake IDs to spew this garbage indicated what they really think of their own views 🤔 🤣
Even they know that kachra they are spewing is too filthy to be associated with their IDs on an already anonymous forum
baat mein dam hai tu asal ID say aao

I haven't come across any single text which mandates us to be vegetarian. If you have, kindly direct me towards it.
