Hey.

Chamomile tea helps to calm down and get good sleep. Not sure if you guys have tried.

Please do check with your doctors as well. As far as I know it didn’t have side effects.

I have taken melotonin a couple of times, it’s said to be safe. (I don’t generally have any issues sleeping.. but I have tried it).

Which one do you use?

The organic India one works for me. Sometimes I have it in the evening. It’s calming

Depression.

I took therapy and still consult counsellor.

I had severe anxiety after some deaths in family and leaving my childhood house. It took me lot of time to get normal after 2013...

Yeah that's because it works on the exact same receptor as Benzos - i.e. gaba receptor, so effect is pretty much the same, except it's milder. Pretty sure if one takes 'em for long time and also excess amount, it may cause problem... but it sounds good. :)

I would be surprised if ppl are entirely healthy and without mental issues in modern day and age.

+ those who have it are the ones replying here, while the ones who are happy-go-lucky aren't, so that's why... :)

I used to have social and stage anxiety. I could bear to speak before a lot of people. For me it used to be my biggest fear to speak on stage. I never had confidence to participate in any co curricular activity which involved singing, speaking and dancing in school or college.

I joined hospitality as an employee. Here I am supposed to speak and meet people around the world with varied culture and strata. I had to mold myself for everyone to be comfortable. Corporate parties and get together s used to be nightmares for me. You need to look polished, could not repeat an outfit and are expected to smile at others. It took me a long time to adjust.

I had also suffered from minor from of depression due to life problems, which got cured with counseling.

Nowadays everyone goes through this problem. I would say spirituality helps a lot. Do chanting meditation it will help you a lot. Read books and so self healing.
