Firstly, if you wanna mention my post, then tag me. I have no problems clarifying, but you have no right to twist my words.

Just so you know, I have Muslim, Christian, Parsi, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist friends. I have a lot of friends from the UK where I studied and it included Turks, Arabs, Nigerians, not just the locals. Many of my friends on the forum are Muslims. Go ahead and ask them about my "bigot" nature.

My favourite actor is a Pakistani. My favourite actress is German-Turkish.

So I have no problem with whatsoever religion.

Did the British not loot the country? Did invaders from Turkey, Mongolia not kill, rape and pillage this subcontinent? Yes they did. But does that mean I hold people today accountable? No.

One of my professors was a Turkish and he would openly talk about the good and the bad of what the kings from his land had done a.k.a the Ottomans. My British friends always condemned the actions of their forefathers.

If I was such a bigot, then would I watch and enjoy media from Pakistan, Turkey, America, Britain?

So I am not targeting any Muslim or Christian, nor will I ever do that. If I have spoken about historical events and they belong to a particular faith, I cannot do anything about it.

And if you wanna talk about Hindu extremists, then I was one of those who openly supported Padmaavat-Bhansali during Karni Sena's fiasco.

Their real issue was why he did Islamic style prayer and not just prayer with folded hands like others.

I guess they did not bark about Aamir or Javed there because they simply folded hands and paid respects like Sachin and others.

It is totally vile and disgusting to make such accusations at someone. Why will anyone spit at any one else's dead body at his/her funeral in front of huge crowd and cameras? It makes no sense.

She has made it very clear on other threads as well.

1. She is equating those nationalities with their majority religion and using it to excuse her bigotry. Which you approved in your responses

2. She and you and many others seem to equate India and Hinduism. Nuh huh. India belongs to those of Indian origin and nationality, no matter their religion. That includes the history and culture and literature. SRK is more Indian than an NRI any day. 😆

And one more thing. BJP isn't India, either.

She was talking about Mughals and Brits. And in that context I agree with her.

Mughals and Brits are not our saviors or heroes.
And saying so makes some people mad then what can you do. It is what it is.

Do you call white people who oppressed blacks, their savior?
