Why Harsh hates Akshara?

May I know why Harsh hates Akshara? Why does he always insult her by saying guitar bajanewali, roadside singer, she is no match for Abhimanyu blah blah. He treats her as if she is from a very poor family. She is Akshara Goenka, she is a rich kid. Her father is Goenka and her mother is Singhania. She should inherit sizable assets from both mom and dad side. Can anyone tell him that? 🙄

Harsh is the most annoying character in yeh rishta. He makes baseless statements. He is ruthless.

Because, the way he sees it, all of Abhimanyu's anguish is the result of her keeping her mouth shut at the original tilak where Ab was humiliated and by her not stating her feelings honestly, leading to the wedding fiasco. To him, Akshara has put the Goenka's well-being above his son's. And now that he hates Goenkas, Akshara is even more objectionable to him. He doesn't care about the wealth of the Goenkas - he's completely arrogant about the Birlas own wealth and standing and thinks they're the best.

He hates her cause he feels she's taking his son away from him, is my best guess. She also reminds him of Manjari which makes him ragequit

Yup and these as well.

It's ironic that Papa Birla's hatred of Akshara is, in a twisted way, tied to his love for his son and the desire to end their estrangement.

He's a grey character. Hasn't an ounce of respect for women or Neil but he does care for his son. He sees that Abhimanyu's been coddled his entire life by Manjari and thinks that's what drew them apart but that's not entirely true. His own actions motivated their divide. I can see a similar fear about Akshara.

A part of him was hurt by Akshara's silence and that's why sees her as unfit for him.

Agree - this is a great take on Harsh. He doesn't think Akshara is good enough for his son and thinks her idhar udhar behavior will hurt Abhimanyu and deepen the wedge between them.

Of course now watch Akshara move heaven and earth to bring Daddy and beta together even at the expense of her own self-respect - much like Naira did in S2🤔

because Ak is not up to his standards,,,he wants a doctor bahu and not a muscican or gharelu type ladki...he wants to extend his business and abhi marrying Ak won't help..basically he wants someone to overtake Mahima..and have his position above his elder brother and his family..in tow words he is simply money minded and he is sexist..
