Harsh basically looks down upon people who sing or dance. He had also warned Manjiri against dancing/singing when she had done so in Abhimanyu’s birthday party.
Also, Akshara might not have inherited anything from her mother. In essence the show shows all of deeply rooted Marwari families, with each season they just become more modern. But in today’s time too, if the daughters ask for a share in the property, they lose their relationships on her maternal side. The daughters are supposed to be of the mindset that all of her parent’s assets are to be passed on to the son, and they are only given anything if her in-laws are not comfortable financially

I was just joking yaar. I completely agree with you. He has no respect for women, and he especially looks down upon women who don't work or have jobs that are below his standards... which is even more disgusting. He thinks Akshu isn't good enough for Abhi, just because she is in the musical profession. This type of mentality is so prevalent in our culture though... it is quite sad. And of course he treats Manjari like absolute garbage. He tries so hard to control his son and his life, that he has destroyed that relationship too. Children who grow up watching their fathers abuse their mothers are really traumatized as adults, and we see that in Abhi. That is why he is still a child at heart, because he was never able to enjoy his childhood. He had to grow up way too soon to protect both his mother and his brother. In a way, I will be happy if Anisha and Kairav have a past, as Harsh keeps blaming the Goenka daughters for everything going wrong. He thinks that just because his kid is a boy, he should not suffer the consequences. Now the tables will be turned and it will be a Birla daughter and Goenka son. Manish doesn’t even have to do any efforts for akshara. Abhi and Akshu are on manaoing spree. Harsh ka kuch nahi chalta when it comes to abhi. But the way anisha blackmails everyone - Birla’s will be at Goenka’s mercy 😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah and Akshu doesn't even come from poor family but the way he insults her is too bad. Somewhere I feel Manish is not wrong when he thinks having relationship with Birlas is insane. The way that guy talks no wise man would get their daughter married in that family. I feel very happy Abhi found right girl who will give him that peace. That's why when I see him crying, I feel that connection. Yeah hope he learns his lesson but don't want poor Kairav to suffer. Because from childhood that guy has never been happy. Naira kept him away from Karthik for so long then she died and then both his parents. Plus he has lot of health issues.
Yup. In the Abhira equation, Harsh is powerless. Once Manish is on board, no one can stop their marriage. In the flashback, we saw that Abhi was silently supporting Anisha rather than being his usual angry self and smashing vases. He is protective towards Anisha, but it is nowhere on the level at which he feels for Akshu and Manjari. So, Abhi's anger and sway will not be enough to help get Anisha her way.. as it clearly was not enough 2 years ago, hence why she ran away. Yup. Manish has a huge ego, but I also feel for him. The way the people were talking about his daughters at the kite festival... no father or elderly figure will tolerate it. At the end of the day, we can still see his love for both Akshu and Aarohi. He will come around and is already slightly melting towards Abhi. The problem is that Harsh is ruining the equation with his tantrums and insults. I did not watch the past seasons, so don't know much about Kairav's backstory.
