I’ve watched the show from the beginning and obviously was invested in the story line but even the tender moments they did have as a “couple” never felt like THIS. Maybe because Imlie always came off as very vulnerable and the power dynamic was super different.

On paper Aryan’s power dynamic should be more intimidating but the reality is he is HYPER aware of the privilege he has and tries to mitigate her being vulnerable by elevating her. (Ex: you’re a tenant not some broken bird staying at my house for free).
