Aunty is not a poisonous vituperative and violent attack that destroys someone's character and image. It is an extraordinarily mild and innocuous term. When you are say even about 25, most young kids will call you uncle or aunty. Above 40? Definitely. People have called me uncle, why on earth would I be offended?

Shamita launched nasty attacks against Umar and Teja. She repeatedly and non-stop character assassinated Umar by calling him violent, she destroyed Afsana's image, she called Teja insecure, she called Ieshaan and Simba ill-bred, uncouth etc. and what not.

And Aunty is the offensive term?????? What horrifying ivory tower are the Shetty sisters living in?

it’s a reality show ppl destroy each Other ….bolne ka show hai…but there are boundaries age shaming , personal attacks shamming a strong no no

Either we can talk with stats & data or you can carry on nonsense PR job....we can ignore. Learn to accept that you are making no sense.

what ever shammo did she wa bashed then and there itself and moved on..do u want all of tejas misdeeds in bb15 to be carried over to her next reality show??

It all depends on how the person says!

Secondly it will not be a big deal until it comes to the individual

Context is important. Teja said it when Shamita was giving a massage to her so called BF . She said " Aunty chad gyi " .

FYI its not just age shaming but sl*t shaming too.

If you arent able to understand dt , maybe you dont want to understand . Take your rose tinted glasses off and then see

exatly CONTEXT this is something that should not be defended that episode was triggering for me it brings back memories about how women. are viewed and judged different from men and is sad to see a woman putting another down and what makes it worst is the justification no human is perfect and when you make mistake accepting and apologising makes a difference

Didn't Shamita publicize the underwear of Moose etc. to other men and said they were almost doing p*rn and showing boobs all the time.

How is Shamita doodh ki dhuli?

So if shamita has done or said some nasty things does it make what tejaswi said or did correct. Shamita has her faults and iam not blindly supporting her, she was wrong in doing above mentioned things.

About the aunty fiasco , it was the culmination of repeated verbal attacks done by tejaswi towards shamita. Tejaswi has always demeaned shamita along with karan about her age , and other things .later tejaswi started getting insecure , started bringing shamita into tejran relationship, saying demeaning things privately and later publically after vip degrade.Time and again shamita has given clarifications but during the audience round she insulted shamita publically and tried to hurt her.

Later started her sorry drama and now clarifications. As shamita said words once said cannot be taken back.

Just reverse the scenario, if teja was targeted unnecessarily by shamita for getting close to R or if shamita tried to pull her down from the table , how would teja fans react.

World is becoming toxic we don’t know what each one is going through…may be torn inside …so try to give a compliment talk nice things …sometimes it makes their day …calling someone didi is ok …aunty budddi and all a big no…womens bloood boils !

The meaning of word Aunty is not offensive, but in what context it is said determines if it was offensive or not. Teja did use that word to make fun of Shamita, to insult her.

But it is not that Shamita has not insulted anyone. When Shamita has insulted Umar, Teja, Afsana or any contestants. The uproar does not happen from contestants friends, family. Or Salman.

But if Shamita is at receiving end, we see the uproar and all kind of support for Shamita as she is celebrity (Sister of Shamita Shetty)

I find Shamita, her friend, boyfriend, family and celebrity overreacted on word aunty.

true …ss recognized teja insecurity in early days and told kk she is ur gf u have to take stand for her …and avoided talking to him completely … kk could have strongly told teja when she always ranted about him and kk not to do that as it insults their relationship…he took it lightly …it built up in tp head and she even dragged shammo…shammo was taken off guard
