I don't know whose idea was bride swap but agar vo na kare hote to groom ki family aur guests log bride ke family ko hi blame karte. The groom and his family would get away with no harm. He has no right to behave with her like this when she was not at fault. It's his dad who wants to let this marriage continue. How about the groom getting her into a big city and enrolling her into some course that will eventually get her a job while going through divorce procedure? Aise sirf ladki ko hi mental torture karne ka kya matlab? As per original story, the entire family except sasur will torture her leading her to almost suicide. Just because he is f**king ML this level of mental torture is not okay.
