Yeah thats true. People always ready ro judge woman.

For eg. When first time virat sruthi relation revealed family members blamed sai, even though the family know the reason for their disturbed marriage life.

At the same time they ready to blame sruthi. But they never questioned pathralekha intentions.

I agree it would be difficult for Sai with the kind of society we live in.

But it's also true that the situation is changing. There are lot more progressive men today than earlier. And even TV shows are matching upto it.

Don't have to go too far. Just look at no 1 show. There Anuj is unmarried so far (correct me if i am wrong.. haven't watched it) and ready to marry Anu. And that too when they are both 40+. I loved this idea. Also BALH where they have gracefully accepted the past relationships.

It is worthwhile to note that in both these examples the character is like a proper hero. Sensible and understanding. Surely there are some attributes that make them irritating but that I can account for the drama quotient of the show.

And while I do not completely agree to the idea that there should always be a man to support a woman, the kind of patriarchal society we live in... People listen to you or your viewpoint only when a man is justifying it for them. Sadly true.

I agree that Sai is desirable and that it precisely why she should have the choice and the option to do whatever she pleases.

All I want for Sai is a feminist who will support her in whatever she does. And be with her to bear the storms. ❤️.

P.S. please don't take it as a criticism of the writeup. It's wonderful. This is just my viewpoint. 🤗

Things are changing but it's definitely not easy, more difficult for a girl who has no one as such... friends, mentor etc are good but they are not family and people too take others granted when they know that they do not have support as such.

Situation is changing with girls being more independent, however, the change is very slow...in the generation preceding us, it was impossible for girls to think about divorce, now they can think of it but still it's not that much accepted...

This is fiction, we can write and think as we like and I like all the stories with Charming MLs, however, if we think about realistic aspects, it's difficult...you never know someone in their entirety till the time they start living with you...Virat used to have objection with Sai standing, dancing with other male friends, her new ML can have problem with her status of being a divorcee, who knows about the level of intimacy they had.

You know I love Sai the most in the show, she is the reason I am still here, even after destroying a few of my brain cells everyday...the fierce, feminist sai but this is also true that a single one cannot change the whole society, which needs time to change and be more liberal.

Your viewpoint is always accepted, thanks for sharing your thoughts🤗...this write-up was just as a complementary aspect to your SaiMit story, if on one hand, sai can find someone as handsome and understanding as Sumit, she can also face the obstacles, that depends on creative viewpoint of writers which does not exist actually...vohi hona hai jo KD me hua.

For anu aunty show, they showed some unrealistic stuff there...it's possible for someone to wait for their love, not impossible but rare.. however, Anu aunty needed a man's support to grow and be successful that Anuj gave her...it was not actually her solo journey.

Patralekha is given extra privelege despite of being shameless...that's their creative take...

Sai was blamed even in that Puja gathering where kaku, Sonali and Ashwini went after Sai, Virat left.

They can blame sai, Shruti, and karishma, never Pakhi...I love feminist Sai for taking stand for Shruti when they blamed Shruti saying Virat was responsible, however, she feels that virat was also not wrong to fall in love, she had reasons we might or might not be okay with but there is some truths.
