That's actually true!!!

I actually always prefer a realistic solo journey of Sai Joshi than bringing a new male lead!

I read about a real life story on the net few days back where someone is narrating a story of his friend who was in love with a girl and was about to get married to her, however, she got r***d before the rituals and they then were in trauma, maintained a low profile life...after some days, this person got an invitation for their wedding and got to know that his friend didn't leave his girl's side, he knew that whatever happened was not her fault. But in wedding, only a handful of immediate family members were there. This person asked the reason when he got to know that many in the family and neighborhood boycotted them and their family, many stopped talking to them altogether...so the problem related to taboos is manifold and that's sad.

Yes, it's good to get a better, more understanding ML but less realistic and rare, especially in Indian society.

So so true!

I had mentioned this before in a post too. When bk was like oh our raja beta is getting older n has "needs" and made it seem like virat was getting short end of the stick- well in reality Sai will have to hear many taunts from society. For bring divorcee, the "chhodi hui". People have a crass, misogynistic mentality

Yes, i remember those episodes and your posts on them...all this is frustrating but is true. Even if tomorrow her would be love interest doesn't have problem with her being a chhodi hui aurat, a divorcee, his parents can...if his parents don't, his relatives/ neighbours can. It's a multi-faceted problem, more so for someone like Sai who is so young, has no one and is in the process of making a career. If there is family, half the things they can handles, brothers and father can help but with Sai it's not so...main problem I have with this series, they haven't shown Sai's other relationships other than aaba and Usha maushi. Virat literally destroyed her life in pressure of villagers, like she got status etc but once that status goes, she becomes more bare than an orphan unmarried girl. If unmarried, she would have got Kamal sir's pension, other allowances given to dependent children and the allowance on account of being a shaheed...however, some of those will be cut now because she no longer can be shown as dependent on Kamal sir but on Virat legally.

Yes, it's heartbreaking reality..if chosen realistic way, it would not be easy for Sai to have a new ML and life of roses from the get go...can be or cannot be but Sai can actually eventually pass those obstacles...that much we know.

Thank you🤗

This is something I had highlighted during the Devkit wedding. V marrying Sai for fulfilling the promise with a deal marriage was very wrong. Because he did more wrong than right. As once they get divorced she would be called a divorcee which is unfortunately a taboo in the society even today. And she will have to bear the repercussions of it. You have highlighted the very same thing in this OS. 👏👏However, I wish you could write another sequel to this. Because, I also feel that a female does not need a man to succeed and can live her life on her own terms. And the whole world does not have only pervs. We do have good people around. Sai only suffering seems a little unjustified (PS - This is not because I’m a happy ending person😉). But I feel there needs to be positivity around the whole independent woman aspect amidst all the struggle

If they go a bit realistic, these troubles can be faced by Sai. Virat, by the way of 'helping' sai has made it difficult for her.

Thank you for reading and commenting as always🤗
