Teja's fan following is not just PR!

We have to accept the fact that Teja is indeed popular on BB15, she wins on polls on SM & does have a handful of followers on this forum too. Everything can be fake & PR purchased, but what we see on-screen screams loud, any sensible person will HATE Teja... but that is not the case sadly. Why then...?

1. As per Sonia Teja & Jay Bhanushali got the highest follower hike& it's surely purchased. Even Shardul/ Ieshan I have seen posts the same tweets formed with exact same language. Teja has paid enough to PRs. But still, the Twitter rage cannot be only PR-based.

2. Every single celebrity (Barring Shardul & Ieeshan or their common Tweet writer) bashes Tejaswi, but she still wins polls and is actually the most popular on Twitter. On Insta though Prateik/Shamita has better buzz.

3. The channel crazily supports Teja, fully biased for her & Karan, they form narratives around her & edit in a way to give her more footage positive or negative.

4. Any publicity is good publicity in BB, we all here are wasting our time writing about Teja about this gives her more Google Adsense hit count & higher ORMAX rating, so even I am a culprit.

5. We are in crazy times, the world is going through pain & sorrow. People get to channel their mean & bitchy emotions via Teja. Many men who do not respect women, age shame them in their head secretly vote for Teja for speaking their lingo. Teja inspires people to have negativity & its a strong emotion.

6. Many people do not even watch BB but just youtube edits or promos, and the many things she says sound entertaining to them.

7. Regional politics is also a big thing. We know in BB14 what Shiv Sena did for Jaan Sanu comment. Tejaswi cashes in on Marathispeaking & BB never edits them out o clearly it's politically & underworld motivated.

But anybody who actually watches the show is a socially responsible person & sensible will never tolerate Teja.

Yeah definitely she is popular in bb15. Either good way or bad.

I dont think anyone’s popularity is ONLY PR but haan some has hugeee PR contributions.

To hype even when not deserved , to spread good words , articles , news etc.

Teja ka i think PR is hugely invested cuz she has a large support on twitter but many many tweets that r read are mostly not liking the person she is.

Even on insta the rate with which her followers increased she does not seem that popular( so it seemed in organic to me)

I might b wrong though and ho sakta hai fans saare organic hai.

In that case i dont know what ppl like now a days cuz for me her personality seems offputting

Yaa I have never seen a non-PR celeb praising her. But regular people do post for her. It's either insane money spent on PR or I am genuinely lost the touch with society.

Tejasswi's pr is horrible, I don't know what she has paid them. They post her blurred pics on instagram, they don't use her hastags properly while tweeting. The only thing they do is they most of the time ignore something called tejran is here. About her fanfollowing yes she has a fanfollowing. You should stop judging her fans or anyone's fan, everyone has fans. We do see something to support them. You support yours, they will support theirs. I have left watching bb one month ago, can't tolerate this show, once in a while watch a glimpse of it. I have left the forum too, I come once in and while but still see people going personal on someone because certain people don't support their favourites. Your no one judge anyone here, support your favourite and pass judgements on other contestant. Don't go personal on anyone's fans. I don't know how organic Tejasswi followers are but she does get very good views on reels and her reels get likes of more than 500k. I don't know we can buy twitter engagement too because her twitter engagement comes after shehnaaz, or her you tube subscribers brought too which is more than 500k.

Let's just end it here but anyway have a nice time watching the most bakwas finale of bb which is divided into two days.

If I go personal on how people can like certain contestants nothing will be there. So it's better don't go personal on fans. Have basic behaviour when you're in a forum or is bb forum also like this. Generalizing and judging people on their likes.

TRP of this season ranges between 0.9-1.4. Viewers of BB15 are far less in comparison to successful seasons. So out of a few viewers, even 30-40% of BB viewers supporting her isn't huge. Have a positive poll for Teja opposite Shehnaaz/Rubina/Asim and see results then. Don't know from which paid site her fans show her trending no. 1 worldwide as I haven't seen her trending no. 1 worldwide in any of 20 websites that give worldwide trend list. What kind of No. 1 is that it's appearing at one paid site only?

This was also one of my points... how can you know what a person she is if you are not watching the show? Not judging but my common sense. I feel the TRP is low so the major Teja fans are not actually watchers. People who love BB as a show will feel hurt looking at polls showing results that doest match reality. No disrespect!

I think she has fans from whatever she did previously. She has real fans. And you are right about what you said about the times we live in. This sort of negativity is praised these days as an example of a "strong" personality.

However, I want to blame Colors for it. See, reality TV shows cater to the more basal instincts of people. The rules that govern a fun reality tv show do not apply in the real world. We are aware of that. The problem is the way Big Boss is marketed. It is aired on a family entertainment channel and hosted by a mainstream star. This ropes in audiences that do not necessarily watch other reality tv shows. It's promoted as being real and unscripted. The stakes seem higher because contestants are judged as though they are showing their true personalities. What they are showing is their reality tv personality. If Bigg Boss was aired on MTV, the show would have been totally different.

Colors get to host the biggest reality show and also then get its people to participate and win. The only real winner is Colors.

Liking the shitty personalities is a trend. Often we also love negative characters more than the heroes. 😆 She was also one of the most talked contestants, bad or good. This season lacked strong personalities.

Lot of people like to support negative, but pretty faces as its the trendy thing to. Young-ins especially like to rebel against what's right just to look cool.

They use Twitter/IG as a way to rebel and justify their own brash actions..and that's why Teja gets the support she does because supporting Shamita would be boring for them.

Another thing is, people think Shamita comes from a rich background and Teja is more Maharastrian so she is getting regional support based on this class attitude.

Based on Tejasswi's followers on IG 4.4M .. and Shamita's 3.4M . But if you look at the amount of likes/comment activity.. Tejasswi's is almost double of Shamita's. The math just doesn't add up. 30% more followers TP has but they are driving close to 50% more traffic on her posts than Shamita's. And the answer to this is BOTS. Everyone is using it including singers for music videos and celebrities to get more brand sponsorships. It's also not that expensive as 1000 IG followers can be bought for $10 USD on FIVERR.

If we want to do a proper trend analysis, look at TP's instagram photo likes/comments/twitter mentions BEFORE she started Khatron Ke Khiladi/Big Boss and you will see it was next to nothing. The best example of celebrity success from PR purchases is Urvashi Rautela whose PR is in overmode always..and has led to her getting many big brand deals and even Miss Universe Judge seat just due to follower size. Anyone that invests in building a brand can succeed in Entertainment world without face or talent.

Big Boss Trophy for Teja Prakash is not justified because it will be a loss for the "good" in society. But, at the end of the day - it won't make a difference in my life if she wins or not so I won't waste anymore of my precious life discussing her. She doesn't deserve even that.

You're true most of my teja mutuals don't watch bb. KKK 10 was fine. BB is hetic, they are mostly into itv and they will watch if any other show if she does. I don't know if they vote for her in polls or not.
