To be honest, to understand Chaitanya's statement one needs to go through his earlier interviews. If you haven't followed Chaitanya before, you would easily misinterpret him as you have only followed Samantha's post-divorce narrative.

** Special mention , post-divorce, as her narrative, when they were co-star, best friends, lover and husband-wife, was completely different.

He went to 'mirchi9.com' station to promote his film 'bangarraju'.there the anchor asked him about how he is dealing with the ups and downs in his personal life.chay's intial response was,'is it about COVID?'..the anchor insisted that it is about his personal life.he was highly uncomfortable but took a pause and said(these are the exact English words for his Telugu words.and I'm confident because my mother tongue is Telugu though I live in TN),'it is ok.i mean the decision was taken in the best interests of both of us.if she is happy,I'm happy.it was the best decision at that situation and hence we took it'.

Had it not been for the anchor he still wouldn't have said a word.he was very uncomfortable answering something like this.he didn't say that it's ok to be seperatied but meant that it's ok to have ups and downs in personal life.oh god! I don't think chay should take responsibility for media twisting his words and insuiating something else.

There is an interview of nagarjuna to subash k.jha that, 'chay was calm throughout and didn't rise to any kind of provocation and that he was proud of how well chay conducted himself.as every father he was very worried about his son but chay was even more worried about me and would ask "you okay,dad?" and I would be like "err shouldn't I be the one asking that question?".

And people in YouTube and instagram commenting that only chay is happy and sam is clearly unhappy and wanted to die..chay is heartless and cold person etc.etc..

I just have one question to these people.if chay is this bad a person why did sam chose to marry him?why did she keep on saying that chay is gem of a person and she got lucky?has she gone mad?was she under any compulsion?No.she was not.i have said it before.i will say it again.if it is wrong to judge sam it is also wrong to judge chay.from his statement it is clear that they were caught up with a situation and seperation was best decision at that situation.what is that situation? Alas..we don't know.but nothing is permanent in life even that particular situation.all that remains to be seen is what they will do once that situation is eased or passes away.will they get back together?GOD KNOWS.

And not go on Instagram to post sad quotes, get friends to post shady things …hype up future projects. delete pictures , delete the existence of the marriage itself…

when nobody asked for it …

I mean the latter method is clearly way more dignified 💪
