The plot was meant to be more intense and this angle gave raghvi a more intense “forbidden” kinda vibe. But I think it was just suppose to be the tip of the iceberg before the real truth to be out which is Mandy coming back. From the start, it was evident that he would (real or the fake).

True…The wedding promo was all about revenge…even the reception episode had sparks flying everywhere…it looked like both did a Ganga Snan before going to Hyderabad…Raghav started combing Her hair and she was smiling at his antics…they went from revenge mode to romantic mode in just a single episode…pagal writers🥱

I also use to think/still kinda think they altered the truth behind him becoming a don (from being cheated on by a girl as stated in initial episodes to being tricked by KR) BUT when u see his audition tape that he posted, u can see Raghav saying how KR and his financial instability being the reason.
So I think the chronology was : (0) a poor college student raghav living with his family ; (1) him being cheated on by the girl during his studies (2)followed by him being affiliated with KR for dad’s treatment/money & his family leaving him.

Remember Kriti said they use to all live happily and iconic was the “start” of the reason why they all fell apart. Later on, Iconic said to Jaya that she got to know about the deaths of his dad & brother from outsider (obviously her distributing sweets was most probably a lie to gain Jaya’s sympathy. Sorry I digressed). Meaning that they were still alive when she was present in their lives.

Unfortunately, what messed things up was the unnecessary flashbacks of raghu & iconic. They should have skipped it or hired the initial teenager actor playing it.

OR like u’ve stated , they retcon the whole plot 😂

Yaar…the biggest goof up is if Raghav was 17 when his father died…and Esha betrayed Raghav by getting married to another guy which led to the KR episode…so at what age did Raghav and Esha fall in love with and for how long?? So was Esha not even an adult when she got married if she betrayed a 17yrs old Raghav…At seventeen he is still in school but Esha & Rahgav fell in love in college right???

So Raghav went all angsty and weepy over a teenage love at 15/16🤣

Because they clearly show a teenage Raghav in the FB of his father’s and brother’s death and Raghav also mentions that he was 17 when his father died…

and the best part is 17yrs old Raghav looked much younger than the Raghu who fell for Esha…it was like Raghu time travelled to look like Raghav for Esha…

Sunaina, I have a pic which is basically a spreadsheet with all the trps with the corresponding dates. I’ll pm it to u if u want.

- So basically, the trp was constantly ranking 1.0 for 4 consecutive weeks prior to Mandar (June 21 to July 17) .

-Since the safe zone for our show was allegedly 1.1, they rushed Mandy’s entry and indeed it went up to 1.1 (July 19 to July 24) . Raghvi confession also happened.

-It stayed like that the following week as well (July 26 to July 31). Mandar’s dna out.

- However, it dropped to 1.0 as soon as she left Raghav for dhouse, the mangalkaur fiasco also happened during that time frame (Aug 2 to Aug 7).

-So they quickly did damage control by showing her returned to Raghavs; and introduced Ayi’s accident. This increased the trp to 1.1 again (Aug 9 to Aug 14).

- It stayed 1.1 the following week where Raghi finally met chup chupke (Aug 16 to Aug 21).

- However, it dropped to 1.0 the following week (Aug 23 to Aug 28) thanks to pleat scene and massage scene (although Swapnil made an entry that week).

-The following week also ranked 1.0 which was when raghvi kya karte hai week, her burning the divorce paper/janaswami week (30 Aug to 4 Sept). Perhaps trp didn’t increase cuz audience were still shocked what they showed the week prior & generally disdained the whole track.

-So the last week of Mandar quickly came: them exposing him and the start of the new smuggling track which was 1.0 (Sept 6 to Sept 11).

Yaar, we have the same epi in mind😂 (as to when to stop watching).

(I know Shivi’s deteriorating health & them moving into bio bubble contributed to the change) but COMMON ON😂😂. The change from “I HATE U BUT I STILL NEED U IN MY BED NOW” to lets “hihi combing my bestie’s hair” was urgh no comment. (& the inconsistency of the next epi after the combing hair epi .. mein kya kahoon)

Remember that look she gave & his smirk when he was putting the jewelry on during the reception🔥.

Damn u covid!! If only they had the promo track (aka revenge/underlying latent track) happening in the RR mansion for a month, before they moved to Hyderabad. That promo raised the bar wayyy to high.

They must have made another trip to Ganga after they confessed. That trip purified them a bit too much 🥲

I feel, Trp increased during mangalgaur because it was a high voltage drama…but after that they expected Raghav to react but instead we got to see a weak and emotional Raghav which didn’t sit well with the viewers,,,

Raghav when introduced was a very intimidating character, absolutely ruthless to his detractors…he was smart with his games and knew how to manipulate things to his advantage …he was a devil with a golden heart and viewers loved him for that…so dumbing him down and showing him weak and emotional as compared to Mandar who’s character didn’t not even get warmed up with the viewers…worked against the show…

Raghav Vs Mandar should have been a fight between equals but Sikand made it one sided with Mandar/Sunny/Keerthi combo being smart and winning and Rahgav being irrational and doing nothing but getting emotional…Pallavi being foolish didn’t help either…

Sai & the initial 100 episodes made Raghav so larger than life that Raghav going down before anyone would not have worked, except for one character…that is Pallavi…for that they should have turned Raghav negative or added more layers of grey to him and made Pallavi stronger…

Wohi tho…that track was full of inconsistency glaring at us…I understand the bio bubble restricted them to a large extent but the shift was illogical….even in the bio bubble they could have maintained the tension between them….

Confession khe baad tho we had to go for the Ganga Snan for watching the cringe scenes of Mandar Pallavi and then Esha and Raghav

Raghav had the whole Hyderabad in his pocket. The police was basically in his right hand (as stated by himself). Yet, the writers made him crossdress to “expose” him when he could have easily just put him behind bars under any pretext .. heck he could have made him encounter if he wanted😂. What made it “funnier” was Sai’s improvisation when Raghav said to Mandar “I can make u disappear if I want to” (when Mandar brought the divorce paper in his den.) but boy rather crossdress .. 🤡

Same logic could have applied to iconic, but Pals rather play ghost & crossdress as a police officer.

This is what I/we hate: dumbing down the leads for other non existent characters ☠️☠️☠️

If our babies loved to crossdress soo much, they could do so in the comfort of their bedroom instead :)
