And my reasons are at its simplest.

First- Akshara,

If only she had listened to Abhimanyu, He tried telling her about his feeling on the trip twice, on the phone, on the day he came to her house with the proposal. This underconfident girl kept running from him.

Then confusion happened, she did not call Abhimanyu to clear doubts and she kept quiet inspite of so much drama on Tilak.

Second- Aarohi-

He agreed with his father that he needs to marry for his mother.

Lastly, Manjari, That raita mata's felaya raita abhi tak nahi sameta gaya kisi se.

Only Rajan Shahi enjoying minting money out of dream sequences and wasting money on side kicks wedding attires.

Ya, when I saw the belt burning the first thought was the symbolism of burning of Sati but more importantly burning of unnecessary ties. - ties that are pulling her away from her true love.

He wanted to get married and the family saw their union in front of ShivShambhu- His shiv pendant hooked to her dress, his ring stuck to her sleeves, his watch entwined with her bracelet.

They are beautiful way of showing they are both destined to be together no matter what. no obstacle can keep them apart.

I can feel this story will gradually become about Akshara and her growth. And Abhimanyu will be like her support. like senior Ak.0.1 and Naitak.

To be honest, ak made a lot of mistakes really the biggest is not opening her mouth at the right time and whenever she does it makes situations worse.

But the responsibility of Abhi Aarohi marriage faisco doesn't fall on her, she didn't tell Abhimanyu to marry Aarohi or her to accept his proposal, it was their decision to make, Akshu had no say in that.

I agree that the mixed signals she was giving Abhi, messed up things a lot but I don't think she is the most at fault.

Akshara did not make Abhi propose Arohi but she did not do anything to stop it either. She knew her words are imp. to Bade papa. could have told him that I have feelings for him but I wont because of the families.

She could have talked to Abhi himself why my sister.

She kept quiet looking dumb. If Abhi never asked her why she was rejecting him. Even she never asked him why he chose her younger sister of all the girls.

She stood mute to all the building of confusion and she even encouraged Aarohi by teasing her and she kept coming in front of Abhi in the name of I am playing normal normal game.

I know its' not my story to dictate the characters but just saying I identify with Abhimanyu so its easy for me to justify his actions.

So I feel Akshara kept the confusion for too long. She should have talked to Abhimanyu but she switched off her phone during TILAK.

that mistake cost everyone such precious time and family ki izzat is down the drains.

It's arohi imo. What akshu did and what abhimany did was also wrong but their intention was to please the people they love the most .they were not acting in self interest . In the court of law also, the punishment is based on the crime AND the circumstances. Akshu and abhimanyu were helpless. They couldn't communicate properly Nd their loved ones were at stake. What changed now ? Akshu confessed her true feelings ..this is what was stopping abhimanyu from a long time. Akshu realized sacrificing for arohi means ruining abhimanyus life n she couldn't let it happen.

Why arohi? My dear fellow members of the forum specially @illuminatus explained it in this thread really well , I need not repeat.
