“Par mujhe nahi pata tha tu bhi iss had tak girjayegi” those words rang in her head over and over again
As she tried to walk on her feet, her head spinning faster by the second
“Yeh daaru mujhe mere Gham ko bulane ke bajaye, yaad kyun dilaraha hai” she said while holding her throbbing head
Walking further ahead with no destination in mind, she sat below a tree. So much transpired within these few hours, just a while ago she was dreaming about confessing her love for shiva and here she is sitting under a tree in the middle of no where in a drunk state
Shiva had been bailed and he wanted answers. Answers from the girl who he knew from childhood, from the girl who loved his family with all her heart.
He walked into their room expecting her to be somewhere around, but to his dismay the room was empty. His eye travelled to the dustbin filled with rose petals and a completely destroyed sheet of paper
“Kahan gayi woh itni raat ko?” He thought to himself
“Bhabhi” he called out for dhara
“Kya hua shiva?”
“Raavi kidhar hai bhabhi?” He asked
“Woh mami ke ghar gayi hai”
“Woh wahan uss Dayan ke ghar kyun gayi hai” he seethed with anger yet again
When will they stop spewing venom in her innocent mind he wondered
“Teri iss harkat ke baad woh yahan kyun rahegi?” Dhara said sternly
“Aap kya keh rahi hai bhabhi?”
“Jo tune aaj kiya woh bohot galat hai shiva, raavi pe shaq kaise kiya tune?” She asked disappointedly
“Par bhabhi-“
“Chod Shiva, tu jaake so ja ab. Kal usse ghar wapas le ana” she adds and leaves
Shiva knew that raavi would never intentionally try to harm anyone, not even the person she dislikes. But how can he overlook the fact that she is very gullible, Anita could easily manipulate her into going against her family.
Just as he was about to hit the bed his phone flashed
“Raavi iss waqt phone kyun kar rahi hai?” He thought
“Hello?” He answered
“Hello” she said while sniffing her nose
“Chipkali tu ro rahi hai kya?” He panicked
“Tu aise kyun hai shiva” she added while fresh tears made their way
“Raavi tu ab kahan hai? Main mami ke ghar arah hoon abhi” he added while picking his keys
“Mein maasi ke ghar nahi hoon” she said in a dazed tone
“Raavi tune pi rakhi hai kya?” Asked a bewildered shiva
“Haan! Lekin mujhe halka mehsus nahi ho raha hai shiva. Mene internet pe dekha ki peene ke baad apke saare gham chale jate hai. Lekin mere dil ab bhi dukh raha hai” she said while pointing to her heart
“Raavi tu abhi kidhar hai? Main tujhe lene araha hoon”
“Mujhe nahi pata ki main kahan hoon shiva” she said while sobbing
“Raavi aas paas dekh aur bata ki kya hai” he asked while starting his bike
“Baade baade ped hai aur mein ek ped ke neeche baithi hoon” she replied cutely
“Ayy chipkali ped toh har jagah hai, aur kuch nahi hai kya paas mein?” He shouted
“Tu mujhe phir daant raha hai” she cried again
“Arrey phir se rone lag gayi yeh” he facepalmed himself
“Acha main nahi dantunga, ab bol aur kuch nazar aarah hai?” He asked calmly
“Haan ek mela hai”
And that was all he needed to find her, shiva Pandya was next to his wife in the next 10 minutes
Parking his bike near the stall, he walked towards raavi, who was sitting under a huge tree with her head on her knees
“Raavi” he softly called out
“Shiva!” She excitedly got up causing her to feel lightheaded
“Arrey aram se” he added while catching her
Raavi clung to him, her hands wrapped around his torso while he arms securely held her waist
“Shiva, tu mujhe humesha sabse last kyun rakta hai” she said while trying to control her tears
“Raavi yeh tu kya bol rahi hai?”
“Tujhe mein hamesha galat kyun lagti hoon? Bachpan se leke aaj tak tune mujhe hamesha doosron ke galtiyon ke liye saza diya hai”
Guilt overpowering his being, he held her closer to him. He knew he was wrong. She would never do anything wrong or wish bad for his family.
“Mujhe finally laga tha ki mera koi apna hai. Jo mujhe samjhe ga, jo mujhe bina koi judgement ke aapna yega. Lekin tune wapas mera dil tod diya” she mumbled in her drunk state
“I am sorry, mujhe pata hai ki sorry ek bohot hi choti shabd hai lekin mein sach mein apne kiye pe sharminda hoon. Mujhe aise tujhpe shaq nahi karna chahiye tha. Aur tu mere liye last nahi aati hai Raavi” he tried to explain
Finally moving out of his arms she looked at him
“Main nahi jaanti ki mujhe kya kehna chahiye” she replied
“Kuch mat keh, bas ghar wapas aaja” he pleaded
“Nahi shiva, haan main sabko bohot jaldi maaf kardeti hoon, lekin uska yeh matlab nahi hai ki mujhe dard nahi hota. Jab mujhe khud lagega ki main Teri priority hoon, uss din main tumhare ghar wapas aaungi” she declared
“Raavi tu meri priority hai. Yeh main tujhe kaise samjhaun”
“Shiva tere actions kuch aur hi kehte hai. Museebat ke sameh tu mujhe nahi chunega. Agar baat tere ghar wale aur mere beech hogi toh tu humesha unhe chunega. Aur please mujhe galat mat samaj”
“Raavi aise kuch nahi hai. Tujhe bas chad gayi hai” he tried to make sense
“Nahi, aaj ja ke mujhe sab kuch teekh se dikh raha hai. I am worth more than all this shiva. Jiss din mujhe lage ga ki tu mujhe apni family maanta hai, uss din main khud chali aungi Tere paas.” she added as she made her way back to the tree
This was not the end of their relationship but the start of their journey towards understanding eachother
