Hmm, I am unsure what was the last SRK movie I watched tbh. Fan? No idea, I have probably not seen any in 5-6 years. And yes I didn't watch Raees, JHMS, Zero or whatever else there have been in between.
I was actually very excited for Zero because I really enjoy ALR's movies and always wanted them to work together. Then the poison cast was selected. Chalo that's still OK, but I lost all interest when I heard that they were going to shoot overseas and SRK was providing input and changes were being made. You can't be interfering and asking directors to move away from their strengths - in ALRs case, it's small town India, UP specifically.
So I agree with a few things this guy says like - it's not possible for all directors to fail only when it comes to SRK. The blame has to lie with SRK. He is making a khichdi and hodgepodge of things by mixing them up. Also romantic movies in BW are dead and SRK is way too old for them.
I don't think he's learned much tbh as I have no interest whatsoever in Pathan or the Hirani movie if it's even happening. That being said I think BW itself is creatively dead and is going through a crisis. There are no exciting movies at all. So actors can only do so much when choices are so limited.
