I've been thinking about Imlie's own obsession, with the T's and what they represent for her. They must have seemed like such a picture perfect family to her. One thing I think will hit Imlie really hard, when the T's flip back to Malini. I was really struck by Imlie and Malini confrontation post-Adini wedding, when Imlie told Malini that the T's are her family and always will be.Originally posted by: Pavilion_way
Yes agreed on so many levels. Now I have watched the show from beginning till Malini's neg chr and NN's entry at the T's. But she was not as stupid and idiotic as she is now.
I don't get the sudden change in her character and her rants about "they are my family and always will be" 🤢 oh pish posh woman. I have not liked how she keeps stating this family nonsense and completely forgets about her own mother and dadda who have raised her and made her capable enough to stand on her own two feet.
Even in today's episode she went on and on about the Tripathi's and AKT being their son, brother blah blah blah I'm like woman do us all a favor and go jump off a cliff would you? Like even aryan can see through this stupid statement. I mentioned this before and I think it fits perfectly, she has burnt her self-respect completely and is now just putting up a show about "I don't care about BS, I want to save PD and their ppl". 😡
That didn't feel right to me. Her reason for them being family, her marriage to their son, is no more. So this relationship with the T's can't exist the way it used to. So this need for their love and approval that she has, it must go. All this weird impulsive crap that she pulls to "save the day" is to retain the respect, love and admiration from the T's she's worked hard to achieve. Yes, she's worried. But I think just as much trouble she has of letting Aditya go, she is having even more trouble that accepting that this family, and all she put up with to gain their love, it all means nothing now. Or atleast it will mean nothing until she learns to view her experience with the T's for what it is. Another toxic dynamic that she needs to move on from.
