I know I sound like a broken record now..ā¦but can you please stop using Shivi as bait and then switch to Gaura drama?? Right for the Shivi diary track to this divorce/engagement trackā¦.its getting old and predictable now. Plus, jab bhi trp girti hai, Shivi segments are released well in advance to keep the audience engagedā¦. arenāt you exhausted of trying to do damage control every single time?? š¤
Also, don't you lose even more money when you edit out good sequences to instead show repetitive drama?? From completely cutting out Shivi kite scene to the edited Shivi bike scene last week....who makes these financially and strategically poor decisions?? SMH
To the creative director, I get that stretching the Shivi story is the longterm strategy to ensure the show runs for a whileā¦but the overall show survival is in jeopardy now with the competition heating up....2 days of Shivi bait, and then switch to 5 days of Gaura is no longer feasible.
Imo, the main reason that PS didnāt see a trp increase despite PS and the competitor show both having high voltage pregnancy drama was that this was a Gaura focussed track that the audience didnāt care enough to watch.....Jaisa bhi execution ho, at least the audience still watched Shivi divorce climax. But instead of building on it, there was an abrupt switch to the Gaura track that was again stretched forever š¤
Also, I do understand that the focus cannot always be on Shiviā¦.and that other characters also have their storiesā¦.but really, their story isnāt compelling enough for the audience to be invested enough to watch an entire weekās worth of episodes. Sure, there can be family dramaā¦but Shivi needs to be more involved and have a role to play for the audience to stay engaged. Sorry, but PS audience just doesnāt care about the other characters, no matter what drama you show.
Lastly, to the editors, please stop inserting other couple scenes in-between Shivi scenes šš½ Kabhi Devtaā¦kabhi mami/anitaā¦kabhi kirkir š¤ Pehle it was subtleā¦.but now, its a glaringly obvious tactic at forcing those couples on us. Dikhana hai toh ache se sab ko dikhoā¦.maybe we'll be able to connect to them. But right now, its just breaking the flow for everyone.
No wonder the audience isnāt invested in any of the other couples.
