s/n: about KBM, someone mentioned FK’s last serial had a version of it … but in ATBA it’s different. Basically, FK (as Veer) is in this Pushtani Mandir to do a puja before his marriage. At this place, single women are not allowed in - if they enter, then they are murdered. After another nasty male character’s saazish, the FL ends up on the land (she has no clue about this place as she’s new to the area/the Raj Gharana’s psycho pushtani mandir) and Veer gets stuck inside a puja room with her. Nasty dude instigates the pundits and the pundits set out to stone Veer & Rani to death. RanVeer try to reason with the pundits while being dragged and stoned, Veer is trying to protect Rani with his body but eventually grabs some sindoor and fills her maang. There’s no blood except for the boo-boos on their bodies 😢 No KBM in the literal sense. I believe MaaNeet KBM is a different thing altogether but concept of why maang bharooing is probably same.

He beat Dev up because Geet was taken by her cousin to meet him at the bridge. It's purely coming from a place of "this is my property" and not "I'm protecting my sister." 🤡

Also, low-key, Tauji has a point in rejecting Dev & his family's plea to wait a year before marriage - felt like a bullet would have been dodged but obviously, Roka will be happening in epi 7.

Now, since Dev isn't shown to be absolutely shady here (although, we know he is) - a part of me feels like he took an interest in Geet bc of her naivety, innocence and beauty. It's also that concept of a treasure locked in the castle ... he wants to have her (this is the retrospect view, live feed makes it all feel like fairytale 🤪LOL).

Oh dear… soooo I am quite ahead but I will agree these kind of brothers are less about being protective and more about ownership and dictatorship. He enjoys the power he has over geet.

Even if Dev had any liking it is not explored well, he is just a con man who broke Geets heart.
