Some characters played by actors remain with us. They mark the actor along with the character. Baron Sobti's legendary one, Nakuul's, Surbhi Chandna's, Sanaya's; Sai Joshi played by Ayesha falls exactly in that list. Memorable as a character and remarkable as an actor.

I'll probably remember Virat and forget it's actor. Unfortunately Patralekha in a negative way is quite remarkable too

Patralekha would have been my favourite if at all the actor was good. She had the tendency to go the Maya way in terms of popularity. But sadly Actor did not thin the way I think.

About the actors you mentioned. NM is loved for so many more reasons apart from the characters he plays. Well lets not go there, warna aa jayega danda.

Exactly right..if played right, a negative or a grey role is amazing to be an audience too. They had sooooooo much scope for Patralekha. She could've been a character as loved as Sai if only the writers and actors did their job right. She would've been the perfect way to show unrequited love, loneliness, pain and finally moving on. All those are very real things.

But noo, they had to turn her vengeful and the actress just added to the destruction of Patralekha as a character

Agree with you. Imagine if it was Jenny playing Patralekha. Lord. That would have been fireworks. Then it would have been a treat to see Sai Joshi vs Patralekha Salukhe. But yahaan toh Sai Joshi is the only dhamakedaar firework. Patralekha is kind of a fuski bomb.
