Shiva writing on the wall reminds me of my school days where teacher would make me write on the board after not doing my homework “I promise to do my homework” 100 times. By the time I finished writing my uniform would cover in chalk 😆

Shiva finds to easier the believe his enemy (who has lied & cheated constantly as far as he knows) but will still believe her rather than the girl he 'loves'.
