Agree. Compromise ki baat aati hai toh its almost always the girls only who need to do it.

Their life is changing the most but adjust bhi unhe hi karna chahiye.

In many marriages, the girls just lose their identities. Woh kya thi,kya pasand tha,all of it goes in thinking about what other person wants.

Men can marry at whatever age but girls ke 20s main aate hi marriage ka saga shuru ho jaata hai ..

I had this girl in class who showed no interest in studies and her reasoning was ,her dad is a businessman and he will get her married in next year toh woh effort hi kyun karein..

And I want to appreciate writers & directors for showing this phase so beautifully, koi ott gestures, dialogues nahi, subtle, simple, totally in-line with their characters

Monami ke case mein I think Aneesh knows that she likes, admires, respects Karan, love ke liye maybe he is unsure, coz he sees them concerned for each other, but still they are not together toh koi reason hoga, maybe her feelings haven't developed to that level yet or maybe Karan hasn't proposed or confessed yet types

I mean he seems shrewd, as if trying to take advantage of situation

Even during 31st party when he asks her 'tum single ho?', Monu pauses & doesn't reply then he says 'main khud pata laga lunga'

I respect that bro it’s her choice, if she wants to be housewife then she can it’s her life why to judge her just because she wants something different from us.

Yes,jab aap khud hi ready ya convinced nahi ho then there is no point because u then always wait for other shoe to drop and then u r like ki I knew yahi hona hi tha..

koi bhi khush nahi rahega because aap 100% nahi de sakte..

its not easy to let go of past baggage,woh hamesha hi aapka present influence karta hai because u see everything with that lens.

I have even seen love marriages jo bahar se mujhe bahut rosy lagi but reality woh thi hi nahi..usme toh ek hi person giver tha and relationship chal raha tha kyunki woh person bend kar raha tha backwards to make everything smooth.

Over time people start taking each other for granted and stop making efforts.
