All the elders have pagdi in Rajasthan . That is a mark of respect... What really differentiates a groom's pagdi with that of the other members is the Kilangi . The *Teekda* that groom has on the middle of the sehra...that is one auspicious piece on the sehra of a marwari groom.
Agree Hari that when he comes to her he does not come to her as a groom more so her sisters.. he comes to her as a simple man in love with the woman.. whom again he goes begging as. A last ditch resort of running away
The fact that makers have kept in mind that they did not disrespect the sehra/groom only adds on that the marriage will be with full respect and pride.
He will be a groom with everyone's acceptance... Till then him being with Akshara will be more like a couple wanting to be away from those pulling them apart and not typically a marriage...
I don't know if they will elope and marry... I still think they will rebel.. .. as they realise they are the soulmates and can't survive without each other and no amount of pride justifies the pain they are currently in
