See abhi is getting ready as groom but when he came near akshu he didn't come as someone's groom because when he came to akshu his pagri was missing. I think that's an important thing for wedding in North side grooms right. Anyone can wear a Sherwani but not all can wear a pagri right (please do correct me over this if I am wrong).

Inside the Birla house he was like a groom but when he met akshu he was just like a normal guy just akshu's abhi.

It might also mean he had called off the wedding already.

Then he told her let's run away. He didn't tell let's run and get married but just run away.

Actually, pagadi part- in rajsthani weddings most of the people wear pagadi but like you said pagadi is a must for dulha.

Now that you mentioned I think ya, it might be right. He probably called of his marriage before coming to ak.

He is clear from day one he loves Akshu.... But what made him say that? Anything from Akshus side? Did she tell him something before he went and asked her that?

Bcz i can't tolerate for Arohi to become a victim when she has lied a lot. akshu doesn't deserves hate of her family which she will get once the family victimize arohi..so its better for arohi to get exposed first
