Aryan may not choose to listen to Imlie at that point of time. Baat ko samajh Neeli Ghas. Aditya is a sensitive issue. Aryan has already seen Imlie's inclination towards Aditya, her bias for him. His reasons for pushing Imlie out is also because, he doesn't want Imlie in a position where she stands against him, maybe because his resolve will fall weak. Some crap reason they will surely assign.

Imlie usulon ki pakki ladki hai. Galat behen kare ye ex-husband, woh kisi ko nahi chodti. She took Malini to court na for the rape. She can also do the same against Aditya if the situation comes to that. If she knows her own people are not in the wrong she bends those principles too, like letting Satyakaam go.

Aryan thode hi na itna janta hai about Imlie's principles. If she has an inkling Arvind was innocent and Aditya did ghotala, seedha dhava bol degi. Aryan will not listen to her basis his established notion that Imlie will obviously side with Aditya, but that won't be the case.

@Sundari, missed tagging bro, but the premise was the hero journalist falls for the widow whose husband was accused of a scandal that caused casualties. And till one point he assumed the same. But then he came to know the truth and supported the widow and her kids, whom he began bonding with and fell in love with the woman. Turns out the man the husband worked for shot him and put the blame of the scandal on him, and one of his colleagues had recorded evidence. That evidence with the hero gives it to his boss, he sells it to the villain and kidnaps the kid, so that the journalist doesn't broadcast it. But being the sharp guy, he broadcasted the entire expose on another channel, when the widow and her family were busy abusing him thinking he sold his integrity. After the expose, when the truth comes out, the widow stops the journalist from leaving, when he wanted to leave the neighborhood they lived in.

So, I was thinking along the same lines. That the premise could be different, but it could be that Aditya did keep some secret, and Aryan's vendetta isn't misplaced. Could be good thriller material.
