Ah yes, when she blasted Filch. Such gratification 😆
Another favourite was when she offered cough drops in response to Umbridge's repeated hem hem's 🤣
This was really the scene that defined McGonagall to me back then And even now, it's one scene that sums up her personality for me ❤️
Such a cool, badass woman!
When can we expect the result?
If it's getting late, can I post the submitted write-up in the respective forum?

Two organizers and one contestant (as far as I know) have already published a total of five stories in the Fan Fiction section and obtained three cover graphics for them. Meanwhile, those of us who submitted stories for judging are not supposed to share them because we are still waiting for contest results.
I understand that the organizers want the contest to be fair. The rule announced on December 28, that participants shouldn't publish until results are out, because judges shouldn't know who is the author of each story, only mitigates a judge's bias for/against the author. The judge could still be biased for/against the chosen characters or TV show/movie, the chosen holiday, the chosen prompt or how it should be executed ... We can't fix any of that, so we trust judges to act honourably. Bias for/against authors could be a non-issue, but another way to mitigate it would be to let contestants share stories as soon as we have submitted them, but ask judges to avoid looking at fan fiction other than contest submissions. Only until they finish scoring, of course.
Sportsmanship is more than strict fairness. A sporting attitude would be that if the participants have to wait for reader responses to our work, so do the organizers. The present situation is that participation = exclusion from the fun.
Your contest, your rules. I will accept whatever you decide about my story, which was the only one submitted for Prompt #4. Whoever judges it knows that it's mine. I had asked by PM, "would you mind if I publish it in the Fan Fiction section myself? Are there any rules against showing the story to other members, getting comments, making changes if I want to, and then submitting the final version to you by PM?" I got a reply by PM on December 19 (long before the rule was announced to other contestants) that other contestants had to be anonymous, so it would be "slightly unfair" if I published, got feedback, and then submitted my story.
I was in a hurry to share my story with grieving fans of a character in it, who got murdered on her show on the same holiday that I chose. So, I submitted my story to the contest on December 21, and before posting it somewhere (out of respect for the organizers, I won't link it here), I made these sporting promises: "To avoid interfering in your contest, the words from the prompt (in red font below) are unmarked in the posted version, and I will wait for the new year before I credit your prompts and migrate my story to the Fan Fiction section. Even if someone happens to suggest improvements, I will not try to re-submit my story. The version below is final for the contest."
I entered the contest for fun, and I did have fun with the challenge. The prompt words "cupcakes" and "bhaang" didn't suit my characters at all, but I was able to write about pupcakes for the dogs in my story and allude to Mahābhārata for the bhaang. I wasn't allowed to base my story on a regional TV show, but since I was allowed to move characters from a Hindi TV show into any other world, I crossed them over into the world of a Marathi TV show.
I look forward to the results so that I can finally share my story with other contestants, and read theirs.
Bro, honestly I don't know what your problem is? If you feel cheated for the prompt then why are you still here?
If you already think the competition is being unfair to you then again what are you doing here?
It's your call, withdraw from here take your story and post it wherever and when ever you want. Nobody is stopping you! It's your work, you own the copyright to it.
Please do not use me or other fellow contestants to instigate a fight. It destroys the environment.
I was here to challenge my writing abilities and I thought I gave a fair justice to the prompts and the story hence I'm genuinely curious about the results. That's all!!
Dear organizers, I'm ready to wait but it'll get better if I get a time frame! That's all I want.
