Exactly! Even my 6 year old understands much better than her that if mom has to go, she has to go. She can have other work too apart from running behind you. Parents have life too apart from kids and no, they dont have to think about kids 24/7. This mindset needs to change.

that too for something like ‘I wanted to wish them first’ kya bachpana hai man. She’s not worried one bit about why mom isn’t answering the phone what happened over there that dad is also waiting there. Instead, She’s like ‘why can’t I wish my mum dad first’ kya pagal hai. I’m sure I’m future jab MaAn wil reach the wedding stage sabse zyada naatak yeh pakhi hi karegi 🤦🏻‍♀️

Pakhi is a 16/17 yrs old girl so yeah i get it she wanted her mother at New Years to celebrate which why not that’s her mother. All she wants is for her mother and father to be with her esp on special occasions which she also wrote on her Wish note.

I would find it odd if she didn’t react with her mother not being there and to celebrate new year. Since her mother doesn’t live with her anymore.

Anupamaa is a mother to her kids but right now it seems she is mothering Mukku (which it seems Mukku does need but also a therapist) and Anuj.

pakkhi is still young tho and has been through a lot. its never easy when parents split up so i feel sorry for her.
